Juju Grooms Parkdale

Me and my bf took our dog Zero (5 months Goldendoodle) here for his first grooming. The staffs are amazing! Everyone was very welcoming, professional, and you can feel everyone’s very passionate. Store is super cute and clean too! And oh, great location as well! The 4-hour wait did not feel long at all as many shops and parks kept us occupied as we walked around the area. When we picked up Zero, our jaws dropped! A complete makeover! He smells better than my bf now. Thank you so much Kristin!

I love juju and their team! I have been taking my corgi and now my hound here for over a year. My dogs can be particular and my hound is fearful of new people. I LOVE their dedication to making sure my dogs are safe, happy and not traumatized by the end. They always do a stellar job and recommend them to everyone.

Boo Boo Pet Groomers do just as good a service for exactly half the price. Lots of hidden fees, be prepared to spend more than what you’d expect. No consideration for first time clients either. Grooming is on point but serious lack of customer service skills by the reception. The groomer was nice I just wish the business owner was too and their communication with clients was more transparent. Going back to Boo Boo’s. Won’t be coming back here.Additional response:1. I had informed on the phone that I was stuck in construction traffic and was running 20 minutes behind. The service rep on the phone said it, “as long as you arrive before 8:30.2. I carefully read the service price list on the website and it does NOT say anything about a late fee.3. The “late fee,” despite me informing of issues outside my control, was charged for per dog which is also unfair.4. No one is asking you to be unfair to the groomers — I have no complaint from the groomer herself. It’s the policy of the business which seems very unfriendly.5. I booked my kids on the phone after referral from a business I have trusted for 2 years and did not sign or even see ANY “service agreement.” You’re welcome to send me a copy if I indeed signed anything like that but I know I did not.6. I had asked multiple people if there’s anyone else I can speak with to find a resolution to this issue and all I was told that there is no resolution.7. I don’t care that I had to pay more — what I have a huge problem with is that it was not disclosed when I arrived and when I called again to check, the same thing happened. It was not until they were ready to be picked up that I was told that I will be charged $50 for being slightly late (and I informed and was assured that I still had time to arrive) AND $75 more in extra charges bringing my total bill to $537 for my two dogs. I am not disputing that my kids don’t look perfect after the service, what I’m saying is that BOO BOO’s GROOMING does the SAME JOB without any extra fees (I pay max $250 for both of the kids with full groom and teeth brushing) and they are extremely accommodating and very understanding as well. I’ve been going to Boo Boo’s for 2 years now without any complaints— I decided to try Juju because you guys are 10 minutes closer but I immediately regretted switching away from Boo Boo’s. Another thing I love about Boo Boo’s is how personable they are — my dogs are greeted with a bunch of cuddles and treats, the grooming area is visible through a glass window, the receptionist is the sweetest lady, and they always come back with cute bow ties or bandanas and they look like they’ve had a blast. These are just additional ways in which Boo Boo makes sure the client is happy. My expectations were very high for Juju and the whole experience as soured.Bottom line is: I did not get the value for what I paid especially because the customer service was entirely horrible.I HATE leaving negative reviews for small businesses because I know how much it hurts when you put your heart and soul in something you love and someone doesn’t get it — I actually do get it. What I’m disappointed about is that this business just did not care about my experience as a client and especially a first time client. I want to bring my dogs to Jessica all the time but until Juju commits to finding a happy median solution, this review will stay up and I won’t be coming back as a reminder how important it is to understand your pet parent’s perspective.If you were truly committed to work on a solution, leaving a response here immediately after I posted my review would not have been your first choice. If I were you, I’d call my client — especially a first time client, and have a discussion.

Had my puppy in here (Oscar) second time here, everything was done really well. My puppy has long hair and when he goes to the bathroom his hair can get caught. It was great to see that all his private areas were trimmed down to eliminate that issue. All round great service!

Took our Bernedoodle Moki in for a summer cut with Lynn and she did a fantastic job! Usually Moki looks a bit funny with short hair but Lynn really made her look cute and she’s happy and cool for the summer months now. It is definitely pricier than what we used to pay but it’s a lot of work on large, long haired dogs so I get it. Thanks for treating our girl so well!

Ayumi did a wonderful job with our dog Harley today. Not only was she kind and patient with Harley, but her haircut looks amazing! We are so very pleased with our experience at Juju grooms and we’ll continue to book with Ayumi in the near future. Thank you so much!

I have been looking for a groomer for my 2 golden doodles that is closer to home. We tried Juju Grooms on the weekend with our little lady and she came home absolutely beautiful. Our big man went today and got the very same treatment. We are so happy!!

Look no further - Lynne at Jujugrooms is the BEST in town!We began taking our doodle here two years ago after she had a few bad experiences at other grooming salons. She was fearful and did not enjoy the experience. As soon as we took her to the Jujugrooms team, they really put in work to groom our dog in a fear free environment. It was amazing to see our dog eventually get excited to go to the groomers!Lynne has been our groomer and she truly is wonderful. Very communicative, honest, kind and gives great advice on how to build good care and grooming habits for your dog.Our dog gets compliments all the time on her cuts - we have lynne to thanks! Loyal customers of the Jujugrooms family. The shop is lovely too - they sell some toys, food and accessories and the whole staff team is great.Highly recommend!

Took my cat for a teddy bear trim at this place for the first time and it didn’t disappoint! My cat loved her new haircut. Even though it was on the pricier side, the groomer Wendy did a great job and was worth every penny. I love how the haircut makes my cat look and feel! kinda like a Devon Rex now. Will def come back.
