They made us feel like family and were very respectful for the funeral of my 102 year old grandmother. Thank you so much for providing such a warm ambiance and a safe place to grieve, we really felt the love!

The staff at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home (Thornhill) were superb in helping my family through a most difficult time. With first rate facilities, from first contact through visitation, funeral, burial and aftercare, their respectful patience, caring and attention to detail prevented us from being overwhelmed. (We were even able to chuckle through a silly moment when we did not recognize each other unmasked). My mom was treated with dignity and she appeared beautifully at peace for her celebration of life. Their professionalism with compassion was absolutely first rate. Thank you.

I wish to thank the excellent staff at Kane-Jarrett for their dedication and expediency in caring for my late Uncle, as well as for their patience in answering all of my questions. Every director and staff member I met were extremely compassionate and I felt not only my Uncle was being well cared for, but that I was being cared for emotionally. As I was not familiar with the area, and highly emotional running on almost no sleep, both Danielle and Andrew offered to direct me home, Andrew even walked me toward the stop as my eyesight is not great when looking at far distances. It was raining - and it didn't bother him a bit. As I was unfamiliar with the area on my first visit to prepare for the cremation, I had called ahead to see if I could make it on time. I made it 11 minutes before closing, and the staff stayed well after, with no complaints, just to be of service. The urn is absolutely beautiful and I have confidence my Uncle was treated with dignity. I was also offered free counseling by the funeral home by Andrew, which is much appreciated - their service doesn't end once remains are received. The staff at Kane Jarrett truly care to answer all questions and offer assistance where needed. The facility itself is very well maintained, and presents very respectable stmosphere.Thank you to everyone at Kane Jarrett for your compassion and professionalism - to Andrew, Brent, Danielle, John, Anna, and everyone else I communicated with. We received very professional service. Although the funeral was all prearrange 40 years ago, it was not necessary to avail ourselves of all the prepaid services. Adjusting the cost became complicated but we were happy in the end.

Brent and the staff at Kane-Jerrett are experienced and knowledgeable in their field. Their thoroughness and diligence in making our arrangements seamless was what we needed while dealing with the unfortunate loss of our father. They are good people doing good things. I would definitely recommend

The staff at the funeral home were excellent and exceeded my expectations. As someone new to this process, they helped and guided me the entire way. Everyone was patient, understanding and supportive. They did not push any sales or services and let me and my family decide what we needed and provided thoughtful input and advice. My only criticism is I wish they would allow us to bring outside food and snacks as they previously have as the catering is quite pricey. Other than that, I can not say anything negative, the staff did everything and more.

Through one of the most difficult times for our family, this funeral home and staff made a huge difference to ensure we had the most beautiful service and support. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need.

Recently we lost our beautiful Mother, Gwen, and we want to say from the bottom of our hearts how grateful and thankful we are to all the staff at the Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home in Thornhill. Although our Mother had a long and very full life, it was a hard time for our family. To receive such care and sympathy from the minute we needed your help, is truly beyond words. From the beginning to the end, the professionalism mixed with such human empathy was more than we could have imagined. The attention to detail was outstanding, everything was explained to us and everything was taken care of. We were able to be completely comfortable and relaxed with our friends and extended family who came to share and celebrate the life of our Mother.
