The team at Efficiency Solutions were simply amazing, from our sales associate Kevin, to Robert and his team of installers, to Kallia to wrap things up. No pressure sales, just clear suggestions and great options make it fit in our budget. The installers were courteous, thoughtful and very professional. And on top of that, our new furnace has addressed all our heat issues from the past! No more cool rooms in the house. We have even air everywhere. I can’t wait to see what the new AC does in the summer. Thanks Efficiency Solutions for the amazing service. Give these guys a try, you won’t regret it!

If I could give them zero I definitely would. Worst customer service and management ever. And very unprofessional and rude. We paid for the heat pump in full price. On December 22nd when temperature was -10 the heat pump stopped working. We called the company from morning till literally 8 o’clock at night. We were on the phone with them every hour. They said they were going to send technician but they never did with a baby at home we had to suffer for two days till finally we were told to get another technician and submit the receipt because he was Christmas Eve. We had to pay almost $500 for another technician to come and fix the pump (pro west, which is a very efficient and has professional staff). It’s been almost 4 months and we have not been able to get our money back. Finally after four months we got hold of the manager and she rudely said that you can go to court do whatever you want. We are not going to pay for your invoice. Even though we were told that when we called him for service within 24 hours they’re going to be there.My suggestion, never go with them and if you decide to do so never pay in full for the heat pump because they will ignore your problems after.

-Was told that they would be there between 10-12, got a call and was told 1, at 230 no one had showed, I called and was told 330, at 430 no one had showed, I called and was told in 10 minuets someone would be there. 5 pm they finally show up. 1130 pm they were done.(6 and a half hours). Not happy they were late, not happy that they were working till almost midnight. My family including kids, and myself couldn't go to bed until the work was done.-A mess was left in the basement where the work was done-A mess was left in my backyard-A wall" was built without my approval

My wife Deborah dealt with the whole process and said two great technicians came and installed my new heat pump and made sure it was working before leaving. They were on time, friendly and knowledgeable- only thing was it was installed in an inconvenient location that we were not quite happy with as it was in the way of being able to install steps wide enough up to my deck. Not a problem - a call to the office to explain the situation and within a week and a half time, two more great technicians came and moved it to a location of my choice and the job is so neat - they even took all the garbage with them and made sure the area was left neat and tidy - both times. Happy with service right from the sales person Kevin down to technicians and all staff at Efficiency Solutions. Would recommend.

Our experience with Efficiency Solutions has been great from start to finish. When we realized we needed a new heating and cooling system, we contacted Efficiency Solutions without any hesitation. My brother has used their services in the past and he has always been extremely pleased. Robert came to our home to talk with us about our options. He was very knowledgeable as well as informative. He gave us our quote on the spot and our new system was installed the next day. The technicians were on time and very professional. They were respectful of our home, they made sure to leave every area exactly as they found it. They also assisted us with set up of the technical part of the thermostat. Robert came back to help us get our Fortis rebate ($800). I would highly recommend Efficiency Solutions. Thank you Kaila for your follow up calls. Extremely pleasant.

READ THIS BEFORE ENTERING INTO BUSINESS WITH EFFICIENCY SOLUTIONS.My furnace started having a funny smell around February 27 that I had fortis and other HVAC companies in to check and it was determined that the furnace needs a repair. The furnace was installed in October of 2021 and is under 10 year warranty still. I called this company to have a warranty repair done on March 8. They indicated it takes a few days for warranty items to come in and they couldn’t send someone to fix it until Tuesday March 14 and that since fortis hadn’t turned the furnace off it was still in working condition even though it smelled like propane or epoxy chemicals. When no one showed up on March 14 I called and was given the “let me talk to our operations manager” run around as per usual. I was called back and told that they had never said Tuesday, they in fact told me Thursday. That is not accurate, I was told Tuesday March 14 by their operations manager. When no one showed up on Thursday or called I called again Monday March 20 and was told that the operations manager is not in yet and I’d be called back within 45 minutes. It’s now Tuesday March 21 and I haven’t been able to get ahold of anyone and my BRAND NEW furnace still stinks. My partner and another male were able to get services out of the company and when I was called back on the 8th I was asked if my husband was there and when I said it was ok to speak to me the response was “oh.. ok”. I feel as this company is sexist and I have to get a male to call in order to get my warranty work. They have a contractual obligation to fix my furnace and they are not withholding their end. I’m seriously considering small claims court for the cost of repairs and for future costs as I have many years of warranty left and clearly won’t be getting their service with any ease if at all.UPDATE:April 11, Still experiencing the smell and still have not received any work. It has been over a month since my original call and a couple days shy of the original service to be provided date. Spoke with Robert today who indicated that because I purchased the house 7 months after installation the warranty stays with the original owner, not me. He also told my husband that they no longer wish to do business with us and we bombarded them with phone calls. Robert is apparently quite unhappy with my review too, another reason to not provide service. But he will happily send a representative to check it out for $250.

I noticed that my furnace was not running well and scheduled an inspection. They were able to send an experienced inspector Dan who ran some diagnostics which showed that my ancient furnace was on its last legs. He patiently explained the issues, answered my questions, and provided a few quotes for a new furnace installation. Once I decided on the model I wanted, the installation crew came over that same day to remove the old furnace and install the new one. The installation crew was hard working and polite to deal with and they walked us through the operation features of the new unit before they left. It has now been just over a month and the furnace is working fantastically as promised. I will call this company before next summer to have a heat pump unit installed. Thank you, I happily recommend them for any HVAC work.

We had three different companies come over giving us price cost estimation about AC installation, to be honest, Efficiency Solutions quoted the highest, but we decided to go with this company only because the work they have done is very well repeatable out there, they included the electrical work in the quote which the other companies put in the fine print that it was not included and didn’t care to make it clear so in reality who knows what the actual cost would have been, efficiency solutions also gave us 10 years parts and labour warranty which no other company offered, and the brand they carry is the best as well. We'd rather pay more but hire the most reliable installation staff with the best warranties. As they promised, they did an extraordinarily excellent job, professional, nice, and clean. Our next go is to replace the furnace, we'd love to have Efficiency Solutions come back to do the next job. I sincerely appreciate their hard work, thank you Efficiency Solutions.

Ben from Efficiency Solutions performed our furnace maintenance and tune up for our free annual maintenance (included in our program upgrade package). He was at our house for almost two and a half hours ensuring our furnace was running at its absolute best. During his time he cleaned the furnace from top to bottom, removed debris from our inlet filter, adjusted the gas inlet pressure and changed multiple furnace settings to meet factory recommendations. Overall very good experience considering it is part of our 1 per year free check up these guys really do go above and beyond. So happy with our service from these highly trained professionals.

Scam Alert!! Efficiency Solutions installed a hot water on demand tank and we have had nothing but issues. We kept getting error messages on the tank and we would call the company to fix. They would be slow to respond but would eventually send very unprofessional techs to fix (one tech wrote on our wall in sharpie!). About 8 months ago the tank once again broke down with an error message. We had a very hard time dealing with Efficiency Solutions to come and fix it, and eventually paid out of pocket for another company to fix. When Efficiency Solutions sold us the hot water tank they have been charging us $175 a month for fees and maintenance. If we are paying this much for maintenance a month we expect better service. Most recently our tank once again went down with the error message. We once again tried to call for service. On Thursday we were told a tech would come Friday. No one came, no call. Again on Saturday we were told a tech would come between 12pm to 4pm. No one came. No call. We kept calling the office number that would direct us to the emergency after hours service. The emergency after hours number is a line for Society for Christian Care who have no idea who Efficiency Solutions are and cannot help with getting a tech to come out. All numbers for Efficiency Solutions will direct you to this emergency after hours line, they will not be able to help you. We luckily had a phone number from an ex employee who was trying to help us get a tech to come in, I think he was just telling us what we wanted to hear, a tech was on their way. I eventually found Roberto the owners number. He called me back and said that according to him we are booked for a tech to come Saturday 12pm to 4pm. I was to message him around 2pm if the tech hadn't arrived. Roberto told me he know longer works for the company, but he will contact the manager in charge. No tech at 2pm, messaged Roberto, zero response. Left numerous messages, zero response! After some digging I've discovered that the owner Roberto has sold his hot water tank units and accounts to the finance company and because he no longer owns them will not maintain them. A giant scam do not fall for it, I've heard he is still conducting business this way.They will gain access to your home by telling you how you can save money. But in reality youre paying huge amounts of money monthly for wrongly installed units and zero maintenance!
