Found out about this place thru a friend. The food was honestly 10/10. My pasta was cooked Al Dente and tasted amazing. The grilled octopus I’d say is the best I’ve had in Toronto. The service was not the best (probably long day) however those chefs in the back deserve a raise…

Can I just say what an absolute terrible experience!!! Not only did I order about 70 bucks worth of food, I couldn’t even eat it! I ordered take out and was told it would be ready in 40 minutes. So I picked up my order came home (which is 5 minutes away) and it was disgusting! The chicken was hard like it was under the heat lamp for like half hour and still Had some blood. They gave me the wrong side, the wrong order of bread, burnt potatoes. Like come on! I called back requesting a refund and the supervisor was apologetic but I was told they are not allowed to issue refunds and the owner would call me in the morning. A week later and I’m still waiting! Talk about poor customer service and professionalism. Looks like that’s the last time I ever grab anything from that place. Thanks for taking my money and making me garbage.

I've celebrated a birthday and gone on a date here and both times the food and service have been fabulous! My friends took home the leftovers and I regret not snagging them for myself.

The Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo with mushrooms was amazing! A lot of Alfredo sauce along with plenty of mushrooms. Delicious and hot! As warm as if we were at the restaurant! We discovered this place during the pandemic, and we're looking forward to going to see the restaurant in person. It is, in our opinion, the best Italian spot in town. Truly stellar! Grazie mille, Dominic!!

I’d give 3.5.Cute cozy place. It seems like locals come here a lot. It was packed on a Wednesday night. Interesting interior design.Food portion was huge and the price was good for value. They have a brick oven for pizza. Their pizza was great. Their pasta was mediocre. The risotto was flavourful but extremely salty. I think somebody in the kitchen accidentally dropped a bowl of salt.I’d come here for pizza if I’m in the neighborhood.

We have been there multiple times and it’s definitely one of my top choices in Toronto. Hands down my favourite place for pizza (especially the honey truffle one) and gnocchi (the honey nuts gorgonzola ones). Simply amazing! I love the decorations and the general atmosphere and the people working there are always super nice. The only thing that I am not crazy about are the desserts, tried a few and they were dried or over cooked, nevertheless their meal portions are big that there’s easily no space left for dessert.

We did a walk-in on a Saturday night and saw a very packed (and loud) restaurant. Lots of activity at the bar area. Miraculously, there were seating tucked deep near the back of the restaurant and the staff seated us right away. It’s a tight squeeze in there, but it’s not bad. Very vibrant atmosphere. Despite how crowded it was, our waiter paid us frequent visits and made sure we had what we needed. The food was amazing. We started off with the Trio, which is a combo platter consisting of bruschetta and another item called “Magic Mushrooms” (they were truly magical). For dinner, I had the Mare e Monte Risotto and my wife had the Linguine con Burrata with an added side of beef short ribs.Overall, a great experience and highly recommended.

I discovered this place off Ubereats while ordering lunch for work and I must say I'm pleasantly surprised! For once I took the chance to order pasta at a nearby restaurant (knowing pasta doesn't usually travel well) and it was still very warm upon arrival since it was only a 13 minute drive away. I had the Rigatoni Alla Bolognese - the portions were surprisingly big and the pasta was perfectly cooked, the sauce had a nice sweetness to it and it was super flavorful. Like a true bolognese, it's very meaty!I'm constantly trying to find good places to eat around me and this placed checked off many boxes - reasonably price, tasty, good portions, nice presentation.I'm more excited to go in person one evening to try their dinner menu. If take out can taste that good, it's worth the visit in person. :) Keep up the good work guys!

We got the magic mushroom and bruschetta as an appetizer, the mushroom and bread is coated with cream and butter so obviously it was delicious! But not worth 15$ since it can easily be made at home. We got the boneless short rib and I wouldn't recommend it, it was tough and way too salty, the smokiness however was pleasant. We also got two pastas, alla vodka and the fennel sausage bianco, both were mediocre, it wasn't fresh pasta and the flavours weren't deep just salty. At the end, when we asked for the bill we weren't given an itemized receipt so I wasn't sure we were charged correctly but the total seemed right so I paid. However, I still think our waitress should've shown us the items so we could see our pre tax total to calculate our tip, it seemed a little misleading to just be handed the machine and tip on top of the tax.I won't be returning unfortunately as there are much better Italian options at the same price point!

This is a comfort food destination. The bar is always packed with happy regulars, the food is usually delicious and the staff are nice. It’s four out of five for me because if you go on the wrong night, the very young staff will forget your order or your drinks, food has come out cold on one occasion and I have had a meal that was just so poorly prepared, it wasn’t worth eating. It’s USUALLY good with some misses along the way. The octopus is a great app and the mushrooms on toast are a must have.
