Virtual High School

I have to say, I'm on my third course taken at Virtual Highschool and I'm very impressed at the quality and the clarity of the material. I would say that you will most likely need to go beyond the course material. I found the lesson notes to be concise and some terms weren't expanded on as much as let's say in a typical classroom. I've been out of high school for a LONG time and the online platform is perfect for me. The timeline is flexible and generous. I also found the teachers to be very responsive. The only thing I would improve on is the online chat support (tutoring). I found the hours a bit restrictive, other than that I would definitely recommend VHS!

I have a very good learning experience in Virtual High School. I am a mother of two children and a lifelong learner. VHS provides me with a platform where I can freely control my time to study. There are experienced and responsible teachers, as well as a humanized service team.

Virtual High School (VHS) is a great platform for online schooling and would be a recommended option. VHS contains all the necessary equipment to complete High School if you're looking to do so online. It provides essential tools which allow students to be successful with this program like the pacing tool or the online tutoring. It's a reliable source and keeps students engaged. However, VHS could use some work. Making course content easier to understand could improve a students understanding of a concept. The pacing tool often gives unrealistic deadlines, and response time for assignments and essays could shorten to allow students to move on to the next assignment if feedback for the previous assignment is required without any delay. Overall, VHS is a great choice for those looking to complete high school or only achieve one credit online.

As I student from Virtual High School, I have had a great experience. The content of the courses is very well laid out and easy to follow and learn. There are many useful resources, and the teachers and staff are very polite and try to help you as much as possible. I’ve learned a lot from the course I’ve completed and I would recommend the school to anyone who wants to do online school.

I took IDC4U Data Science at VHS because this course wasn't available for semester 2 at my main school, and I've just completed the course.I like how professional VHS is. It's easy to register, access content, and receive help when you need it. The communication with VHS is excellent, they'll reply to your email quickly, often within the same day.About the course: I like how the content is arranged in order and shows how far into the course I am. That makes it easy for me to follow and check what I have finished and what I need to do next. I reached out to my teacher, Mr. DeBlaere, when I had questions and he answered them in a timely manner. He is very supportive and the feedback he gave me is clear, detailed, and explained well. That helps me to understand what to expect, and how I can be successful in my work. The Student Support and support chat systems are also very helpful as they are there ready to answer when we need help. I think it's awesome that VHS has many options when it comes to student support.Overall, I had a great experience taking a course with VHS. I like studying at VHS as it is asynchronous, very flexible, and I am able to do other things that I need to do (that would have conflicted with a synchronous style course) without consequence. I have the freedom to manage my own time. I like it so much that I decided to take the rest of my Grade 12 courses with VHS! Now, VHS is my home/main school and I am excited to take more courses to complete my OSSD. Thank you VHS, for your dedication in helping me and other students achieve success.

I highly recommend VHS to anyone looking to learn online! I have completed majority of my high school with VHS and I am now a biomedical science student in university. Furthermore, I am an Ontario Scholar recipient as well. This is all thanks to VHS! First off, the teachers have awesome response turnaround time. Any questions are answered within the day and teachers always provide exercises and examples for questions. Assignment marking turnaround is also excellent; less than a week. The content of the courses is challenging but not overbearing. Also, the teachers first priority is to ensure your grades are as good as possible. The community events and social media with VHS are also fun! Most importantly, VHS is diverse and has students from many different cultures. Lastly, shout out to physics teacher Ms Mollicone! I had her for 2 years and she went above and beyond to help me with physics.

I enrolled in both the SCH 4U and the MHF 4U courses. The lessons were structured very well and made it easy to go at my own pace. The teachers were always available to help with any questions I had regarding assignments. I am super happy with my decision to try Virtual High School, they provide so many resources for students who might be struggling with the course content, and it’s clear that they want you to succeed. This new learning environment was less stressful, and it reminded me why I enjoyed school so much growing up. I would definitely recommend Virtual High School to anyone who prefers a flexible schedule and a more personal approach to learning.

We encountered VHS while waiting for a student visa in Korea. Since my daughter has studied in Canada for over ten years, we had to be in the line of Canadian education. However, it was hard to find a Canadian educational curriculum in Korea. Most of the international schools were run by the American educational system. It was a great opportunity to know VHS in that circumstances. At first, my daughter attended an institute that had a partnership with VHS. It was a good start to getting educational help from the institute.So far, I am satisfied and appreciated VHS. The most impressive point about the school is its support system. Most of the faculties of the school have been very supportive. They do not make people wait for a long time. I feel they are willing to listen to and solve students' problems carefully and responsibly. Considering Canada’s slow system, I can say that the response of the faculty members was very impressive.As for the study, it was not easy to catch up with the study on students alone. The standard of VHS is quite high. It is doubtful whether students can study VHS’s curriculum alone. However, it is inevitable, in my opinion, that the standard of VSH is high considering it is virtual learning. We did not expect that the time with VHS can be extended so far. My daughter is about to apply for University and waiting for a public school in her last term. Without VHS, she could not continue her study and it is possible to lose her way for a time being. Amazing school! VHS really helped me out when I was having issues with my other school. I transitioned to this school recently and am excited to learn again.The teachers are extremely helpful and answer questions within 24 hours and give feedback and grade work within 5 days. They provide free online tutoring which I have not used yet but I expect it to be just as amazing as every other department has been in helping making the VHS experience an amazing one! I will definitely be recommending this school in the future to other students who want to do their schooling independently with support from a great team.

My daughter recently moved to another country for training and VHS was great choice for us. She can follow instructions and get help from teachers very quick. I would definitely recommend VHS. When you email any questions, they reply you very quick. Thank you for all the work!
