I am writing this review as per the service provided at the office and the management.All the people are made to line up in the stairs and also in the hallway and all the way from the upstairs main door of office to the downstairs main building door.There should be a coupon system where every person coming to the office should be given a coupon or a number at the time of entry and instead of lining up in the the stairs , they should be offered a chair in the main office upstairs and then called up as per their turn.

Pathetic experience. If you miss lethargic corrupt system of India, you should try dealing with BLS international Canada. You won’t miss SARKARI suvidha of India. I applied for my Indian passport renewal. My application was sent back with remarks “COPR letter and a signature missing”. This was my mistake and I corrected by submitting this document and signature as they requested. I lost $118 for their courier service. I had to repurchase the courier label for $103 and they returned my application second time stating “Canadian id is missing and passport photos are not as per the standards “ I already submitted my Canadian driving license and a valid PR card and ny passport size photos are up to their standards. Why didn’t they mention on the first return? I have to pay $118 third time for the courier label. Is this a joke @BLS?

BLS should be more clear about their application process. Online info is sometimes quite different than in-person info, which can be very frustrating. The saving grace for BLS is their employees. Dealt with Sonia at the Surrey branch today, and it was a pleasure. She was polite, courteous and very helpful. Thanks Sonia :)

We visited this center on March 9 and there was minimal Wait time. Staffs know their business and they were quick to clear any backlogs. I was assigned to the agent named Sonia. She was very calm and cooperative. she answered all our questions and even helped us putting the documents together. We faced some issue while doing the payment and she was very helpful in terms of allowing us extra time to sort out the issue. I wish her all the best.

Went for passport renewal. Mon-Fri walk-in is accepted from 8:00 to 13:00. The call centre executive asked me to reach at 6 am and take a token in advance. Due to work commitments I could only reach at 10 am on a Tue. They do give preference to those who have prior appointments. However, for someone who didn't have an appointment, the entire process including the waiting time in queue took 1 hour. I was out of the BLS building by 11 am. I did encounter a few people walking out of the building cursing in all languages they knew about how illiterate the employees are at BLS. I believe people don't have the right documentation as required by the consulate and they just vent the frustration on these poor employees of BLS. However, my experience was really nice and professional. Thank you Ms Gagandeep for serving me with a smile. However, my debit card was charged $115.80 while as per the website the charge should have been $103.10 (including 1 way courier). I see $6 charge each for ppage fee and pp print. I never took any prints or used any other services there. I had to get back to work and didn't wait to check it in detail. $12 isn't big money, but it helps if there is transparency in what I am being charged for. Overall the process is smooth at BLS Surrey as long as your documents are in order.

I am absolutely disgusted by the level of service provided here. I have been going in circles to get my passport surrender certificate since august of 2022. They claim it was mailed to me in September and returned back to them. To this day I am trying to Locate it and not have a response. all I know is Geeta received it back at BLS and my important documents are in a limbo.

I went to this office for my sister’s passport with her on may 27 2023 at9:30am by appointment. I was amazed by the service was provided to us. Hardly took us 10 minutes to submit our application. Girl on the other was super nice and so helpful. Greeted us with smile and helped us with everything. I was really surprised by the quality of work. This office has improved so much since 2017 when I went to get my Indian visa. No complaint. Pls keep up the good customer service. Thank you.
