Great dog park. Easy access for swimming for humans and canines alike. Only problem on hot summer weekend too many people fail to see the signs that’s warn you it’s a leash free area, set up their picnics then complain if the dogs get near them.

Fantastic park. Perfect place to let your dog get their energy out romping and playing in the sand with other dogs. Smaller dogs may feel a little overwhelmed, but medium to large dogs will have a great time.

Silver Birch Off-Leash Dog Park
Beautiful off leash dog area on the water. Some dogs on leash walking through, kids, people with bikes... It is also NOT fenced in. This off-leash area is only suitable for well trained dogs with excellent recall. The Kew Beach park 1 km West on the beach is mostly fenced in and better for dogs who don't have these skills or are likely to run off.

A really nice beach for dogs and for the whole family!It can be tricky finding parking. You would have to park on the residential streets and it gets full pretty quickly.The beach itself isn’t crowded at all which I love! My two dogs enjoyed it! It is not fenced but my dogs didn’t even bother running off anyways. They always stayed near me. The water is super clean and refreshing! I suggest bringing water shoes if you decide to swim! In the water, it’s rocky instead of sand.Regardless my dogs and 3 year old son had an amazing time!We prefer this beach over Cherry Beach if we base it on water quality.

They should make the signage more clear! As ppl on the comment mention, someone yelled and complained on our dog being free leash, come on it’s a dog park and it’s their little spot to run, wish ppl could be more attention to the rules and respect the dogs space!

This is a great place to take your dog to.Unlike the stones in Cherry beach, the shore is sand and small gravel which is easier on your dog's legs.There are public washrooms nearby which are maintained well.Parking can be tricky. But it not hard as the crowd is less.
