As Director of a local non profit animal rescue we could not be more disappointed in this company that assured us we would have a beautiful pond with a filtration system for our birds. The pond liner has leaked from installation and we were told it would be fixed and two years later still leaking which causes constant low water levels and the pond to fill with algae and scum and not even usable after paying $20,000. We were given no written directions to care for the pond and very unprofessional response when asked to fix the issues.

Four hours on a cold and rainy day cleaning my pond and did absolutely top professional job with a wonderful attitude.

I was attempting to jump start my Jeep with a dead battery in my work parking lot, couldn’t get it started, and an employee of Put’s happened to be parked right next to me. He approached me kindly, and asked if I needed help. He got his cables and jumped my Jeep for me! Appreciate the kindness, and for helping me out. Great employees!

Look elsewhere for pond maintenance! Beware!Dan would not give a set price to clean out my pond. I was forced to an hourly rate ($650 for first 2 hours with a 2 man crew, then $250 per hour after that). You need to sign a contract and put down a 50% deposit via credit card which forces you to have your credit card on file. Seemed shady to me. I do not have trees in my back yard. Why should this cost so much? Previous pond service (who retired) charged me $275!The day of cleaning, the crew (Bryan was one person) told me that it would cost me an additional $200 to haul away my debris (hidden cost) and took 30 minutes to slowly prep and proceeded to do a lot of standing around for two hours. After the 2 hours they came up me requesting approval to continue which would cost me $250 and hour. I said no, obviously. They left my Lillies on the top shelf to dry out instead of placing them back at the bottom of the pond. I watched my security cameras later when I surprised of the lack luster job of cleaning my pond. I've had this pond for over 15 years. I know how long this pond takes to get cleaned for a third less.I now have another service who was appalled at the job Dan's crew did.Why 2 stars...I have seen one of the pond he installed and it was very nice, but the owner does not use Dan for maintenance ...there is a reason.Maintenance gets ZERO stars

Put's Ponds & Gardens are top notch pond contractors. Dan takes the time to keep up with the water garden industry by attending numerous seminars throughout the year. They are a very talented, honest and hardworking team and know their stuff when it comes to building, maintaining & cleaning quality water features & ponds in Michigan.

Very helpful. The only pond place that provides education and understanding of koi ponds. I called everyone else in my area and they were the only ones to respond and actually show up.

Dan and his team do an amazing job. I could not be happier with their service. Would recommend them for any residential or commercial work. 10/10, great company, great service, great work!
