Starting with a phone call to Rapid Foundation Repair, and their fast response to sending out an estimator (Ed) to review our crawl space/foundation issues as well as radon protection, we are happy to recommend Rapid Foundation Repair. We received a bid for $4400 and accepted it. A day later I get a call saying that the pricing was wrong and the cost was now $6500. I told the estimator to see what they could do and they said they would talk to their boss. They call back an hour later and say “We can save almost $400. I want to give a huge shoutout to Ed over at Rapid foundation repair: He was very professional, quick to identify the issues, and truly offered an amazing value. He wouldn't let me pay him for the free estimate, but quite literally saved me thousands.My issues did not warrant their services, but Ed went above and beyond to help out a first time home buyer and i learned a TON in our conversation. He was timely, in such a way that he came out before he had to work at the home show, and managed to fit me in his schedule while coordinating with my home inspector. He caught the same foundation concerns that my inspector found, but also noticed some issues with the floor boards that only a professional would haven noticed. I cannot thank him enough, because even after making the recommendations he wouldn't take payment (it really is a free estimate) and helped me make a decision on whether these issues were a deal breaker or not.
