Beer is beer, I'm no expert but it is somehow a little on the sour side. Food was terrible. Burger was very small. Fries were good. Risotto was badly cooked, they need to add more water. It was too hard. There was too much sauce, too strong.

Staff is great, beer is excellent, food is on point with a menu that offers new great dishes pretty much every 1-2 months. honestly, stop reading the reviews and go treat yourself. Also, If you see Virginie, buy her a shot.

Nice microbrewery vibe, good beer selection. We liked all 6 beers we tried. The salmon tartare was excellent. And, as always in Montreal, very friendly staff.

Amazing local brewery, the food is great and the service is awesome, our waiter Frank was friendly and knowledgeable on their different beers. The beef tartare was fresh and delicious, their fries are to die for!!! Can’t wait to go back.

Tasty food and beerExcellent service10/10Update: I’ve been to this place more than 4 times now, the staff is really amazing, very welcoming and friendly! The salmon tartare is my favorite and maybe the best I had. On weekends the vibes are super cool and would definitely visit again.

Came here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. There is a large amount of seating indoors, as well as patio space outside. The food (beef burger, veggie burger and dessert) were delicious and the beers were interesting and refreshing. Happy with our experience at Boswell!

Great food and the brewery’s offerings are exemplary.I tried their burger and fries, and although a little small, the burger was packed with flavour of charred meat and black pepper which paired perfectly with their Strong American Ale.I also tried a triple Boswell IPA that, although strong, was well balanced and smooth.The seating, lighting, music and service were all perfect and very welcoming to people who would like to get off their feet for the evening and hang out with some friends.

Went there due to the ramen festival and was pleasantly surprised at how good the ramen was. We enjoyed some fish acras with it and I had a delicious lemonade that was not too sweet. I had the chocolate mousse for dessert while my husband took the tardiness au pommel.

The food and beer are extraordinary and well priced. The tartare de boeuf is one of the best I've ever had. Sarah was super helpful, kind, and really nice. A hidden jewel, for sure.
