Flora Bora Forest Lodging

We had such an amazing time here!! I was so excited for our stay at Flora Bora and it exceeded my already high expectations. I loved the decor, the attention to detail, and with nice soaps, bath robes and amenities it felt like a 5 star resort. You have to park your vehicle and walk in a bit to the yurt, so you are literally surrounded by forest and wildlife. It was so nice having the canoe to use on Tuddles Lake whenever we wanted. I highly recommend the bicycle tour - the cruiser bikes were awesome, we had such a blast and the picnic lunch was delicious. Karen was a great host and went above and beyond for us- helping us carry our luggage to the yurt, dropping off the firewood we bought, taking the time to show us a map of the surrounding area and make suggestions on where to go in our free time and taking photos of us in front of the yurt! I highly recommending this place to anyone looking for a getaway! Can't wait to go back!

This place is amazing! Karen was so kind and helpful and had clearly thought of everything in the yurt - I found that I packed way too much just because she really had everything for you. Beautiful surroundings, cozy atmosphere in the yurt, and just close enough to amenities to keep busy throughout the day. Will definitely be coming back, hopefully making it a tradition each year!

Everything about this place is perfect. Highly recommend staying here. The yurts are clean, beautifully decorated and thoughtfully stocked with everything you will need for your stay. The setting is private with trails throughout the property.

My wife and I visited Flora Bora 5 years ago as we had never stayed in a yurt before and we've come back every year since, it's become a fall ritual! The yurts are really cozy, well maintained, and exceptionally clean the owner Karen really goes out of her way to make you feel at home and her dogs Coco and Tally are great guides as well! It's just a really relaxing place and there is a lot to do in the area we like to tour around Emma, Christopher, and Waskeseiu and come home to a nice slowcooker supper and a campfire. Would recommend to anyone, looking forward to visiting again in the fall.

The yurts are gorgeous inside! They strike a great balance between rustic and modern. They were very clean and had everything we needed. The beds (including the fold out couch) were comfy and there was lots of extra bedding so everyone was comfy. The area that the yurts are in was gorgeous, great views! Such a great experience!

What a great place! Karen (the owner) is amazing! We had our wedding on the lake near the yurts and she was so helpful. She was super accommodating and answered any questions we had. The area around the yurts is also beautiful and away from everything so it's very relaxing. Would highly recommend this place to anyone.

We visited these yurts a couple years ago and they were amazing! Definitely would love to go back and I've recommended it to so many people!

Flora Bora was a glistening gem nestled in camp and lake country, Karen was very meticulous in all the little details of the Yurt, clearly thought of everything. Our glamping experience was memorable, and is something we are looking forward to doing very soon. The relaxed woodsy atmosphere created perfect opportunity to reconnect with nature and also share close company with that special loved one. The deck, the outdoor fire pit and hammock were very nice touches, however the bbq grease traps and drip guards needed to be cleaned. we weren't able to enjoy the fire pit, but that was due to snow and rain. We will be back when the weather warms up to experience the full pleasure of the Yurt. Thanks for the hospitality and lovely views. See you again soon

Such a great getaway!!! The Yurts are well equipped with so many things to make your stay comfortable and fun. Great firepit area, deck space is great. The inside is well laid out and sleeping accommodations very comfortable. The owners were wonderful! Highly recommend checking it out!
