Prestige Oceanfront Resort

We stayed at the prestige for our wedding. It was a beautiful hotel with great staff. Loved the ocean view balcony in our room, which was great for wedding photos of getting ready. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful property, right on the water. We were able to enjoy the view from our room balcony.Rooms were lovely, staff helpful.This is the second time we have stayed at a Prestige brand hotel, and have loved it both times. Will definitely stay with them again every chance we get.

We spent one night at the Sooke Prestige Oceanfront Resort, but it seemed more hype than substance.This is not a resort; it's a hotel.On the surface, the hotel appears splendid, boasting a grand entrance, shiny lobby, and great view.However, once inside, the hotel feels tired. I've stayed in Holiday Inns with nicer rooms.Upon arrival, our reservation created quite a bit of confusion. The desk staff seemed untrained, and while we stood at the counter waiting for an email confirmation, they continued to handle inbound phone calls. They lacked either the authority or training to solve check-in issues. The assistant manager finally stepped in with a sort it out later" attitude so we could finally complete check-in.The bed was comfortable enough and both the room furnishings and bathroom seemed clean. However

What an amazing hotel!!! First you are greeted by this grand lobby! Reception is at the back of the lobby which was a great idea! It would have taken away from the lobby had it been up front. Rooms are a very nice size, appointed with comfortable beds, tastefully decorated with baseboards, crown moulding, furniture and with ceilings of over 13 1/2 feet (on the main floor anyway). Being situated right on the water, we took a stroll to their marina where we were greeted face to face with a large friendly seal, who came to say Hi. I think he was looking for a fish snack, but we were fresh out! We had a very tasty dinner in their restaurant, service was top notch! In the morning we enjoyed lattes and breakfast at their coffee bar in the lobby. Local whale watching tours and fishing charters are also available (so I'm told by the front desk). A summer time must do when we come back! Could not have been a better experience!

We came there for a wedding reception. The front desk Nima was kind and helpful. He took a photo our little group, so we all could all be together.The view at dinner was breathe taking. The food was excellent.

Exceeded my expectations! Exceptionally clean and well maintained hotel. Amazing views and exotic plants in the garden area. Nice pool and hot tub. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating and outdoor lounge chairs perfect for catching the morning sunshine! Very kind staff who foster a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

I can not rate this hotel highly enough. The pictures on the website do not do it justice. It is exquisitely decorated throughout. It is the cleanest hotel I have had the pleasure of staying in. The service is exemplary and genuinely friendly. The food in the West Coast restaurant is mouth-watering and extremely well priced for the level of quality. The pool area is relaxing, and the gym is very well equipped for a hotel. The room we stayed in was opulent, finished to a high standard with stunning views of the ocean. The grounds are well maintained. We will definitely be coming here again.

We had our wedding here and it was amazing. All the staff here made everything for us and all our guests so great. The wedding was beautiful beyond belief. The Cafe in the lobby is to die for and the food at the restaurant was 10/10. All of our guests said they will be back and so will we. Thank you thank you for everyone and everything here

Top notch hotel. Great staff, great amenities, great bed (at least I thought so), and great views. We've never had a problem here. Only loss of points is for the cafe being closed Tues-Wed during the offseason (when I happened to be there), but hey, understandable (and the cafe is excellent).
