Golf Town

Extremely disappointed in the service. My impression is that staff is not interested in providing any service the customer is more of an inconvenience. I had intended to replace a shaft on my five iron but walked out of the store after standing in front of the counter listening to three employees have a personal conversation. Not one asked me if I needed any assistance or advised me that they would be with me in a few minutes.

I went to get my clubs re-gripped and received great service. When I returned days later for pick up, I asked if I could test out the feel of my new grips in the bay. Pro shop guy had no problem with it. However, while I was lacing up my shoes, some chubby dude was questioning me about using the bay; saying I can't let you hit balls all day"I was the only one there and I hadn't even hit a single ball. Rather than engaging me and helping

My boyfriend and I came in looking for a specific left hand putter, (which was unfortunately sold out) but we were helped by a sales associate named Daniel L! He was able to go through all of the different options in terms of what was left in store, he gave us a full breakdown of differences between putter types and how they perform, and helped walk us through some other clearance and sale options. At the end of the day we did not end up purchasing anything, but Daniel’s service was amazing and he was very knowledgeable, thank you Daniel!!

Selective customer service… i went to buy shoes and not even a glance my way. Where as the one rep kept bringing out shoes for father and son but they were clearly tire kicking ( ie didnt even purchase squat) . I ended up finding a nice pair of eccos. Then at checkout you are made to feel like a criminal as the girl was not even friendly and was more concerned that i didnt switch the shoes with a more expensive pair. Yo girl, i’m already dropping 250 plus on this bizznatch what other pair would i be switching out. This just reminds we why i hate brick and mortar experience but unfortunately things like shoes where you have to try on you sometimes have to shop in person. The good news the shoes are great and now i have my fit i wont be spending a dime at this golftown.

Customer experience for me was ok. Couple staff did asked if I needed anything. What blows my mind is how this place is not open until 10am! On a weekend, I would have picked up a new glove and box of balls this morning and on several other occasions if the store was open before 10am. At a minimum during the very short Ontario golf season open early on weekends My 2 cents.

A decent selection of women’s wear and shoes. The disappointing part was the poor customer service. No one helped in the shoe department nor in the clothing section. I had to constantly look for staff to open fitting rooms, answer questions and help with sizes. The girls with whom I dealt, showed very little interest in helping and kept disappearing. They also showed a lack of knowledge of the store merchandise. Perhaps, more training from the manager would help the staff in dealing with the customer in a more enthusiastic, polite and helpful manner.

Inconsiderate and untrained staff. Drove all the way to get Callaway golf shoes asked reply wise they don’t carry Callaway golf shoes. I decided to look for them myself, and found stacks of shoeboxes in the shoe section. Very disappointing service.

We visited the store Saturday and my son was looking for new irons. He pulled several different clubs down to look at it and had one employee pass him three times, looked at him each time without saying a word to him. My son then went to look at grIps, the attendant looked at him again as my son grabbed multiple grips and still no one asked him if he needed help. I guess this store is doing pretty well.

My golf net barely lasted 2 months this spring/summer before the material holding the poles in place disintegrated entirely. It cost me close to $200 and it was not worth $2.It struggled with balance from day one. Golf Town should be embarrassed to sell such a low quality product.May 31, 2023 - As a follow-up, I contacted Golf Town Customer Service as they requested and 6 months later I have not heard back from them since they assigned case" number to my concern."

This was my first visit to this location, although I have been to other stores previously. It's nicer than most. It seems new. In any event they had a good selection of clubs, clothing and accessories. The service was slower than hoped, although maybe because it was busy. I already knew what I wanted so I can't comment on how knowledgeable they are, but most golftown employees are well trained in my experience. No complaints.
