I got my wedding suit done here after finding out about Surmesur at the wedding show. All of the staff but especially Mickey who helped guide me through the process were very helpful. Mickey was a pleasure to work with and my suit was done without any problems or slip ups. Fantastic experience from top to bottom!

I went in to get a three piece suit for my wedding…I was not disappointed! Michael was absolutely amazing and extremely professional. Surmesur Ottawa is an amazing and friendly place to buy a suit. This was my first time buying a custom suit (for my wedding) and I have to say the experience was top notch beginning to end. Every staff was amazing to deal with especially Mickey! I can't thank him enough for helping me design the perfect jacket for my special day. I told him exactly what I wanted and he made it happen top to bottom, he even helped me name my jacket. Surmesur Ottawa will be the only place I go to for now on. I came to Surmesur for my custom wedding suit. Mickey in the Ottawa shop was my stylist. Both the experience and the customer service were fantastic. Mickey goes above and beyond to ensure his clients are satisfied and having fun through the process. He really understands that, for a groom and for the wedding couple, there are so many things to organize and take care of in organizing a wedding, and so Mickey really takes care to go the extra miles to make the process of making your custom wedding suit easy and relaxed. For example, Mickey readily made himself available to quickly adapt to my changing schedule, always in a relaxed and understanding way. This was super appreciated. He was really quick on email and text messages. This might seem a minor detail, but grooms and wedding couples reading this review will understand how important this is when you're contacting so many folks on all aspects of your wedding. Receiving timely advice and answers to your questions are greatly appreciated. Mickey, thanks so much for being a meaningful part in the lead-up to our special day - I'm going to need a summer suit for our honeymoon, so let's start thinking about what's going to look great on a Greek island. :)

From the start Mickey handled my order to complete perfection. From taking over a few hours to make sure my work wardrobe started off perfect. Even after the first appointment picking up the clothes was an exceptional experience. Mickey and his colleague are very knowledgeable and experienced. 10/10 experience can’t recommend more.

Had an absolutely wonderful experience at this store. Communication was excellent prior to our appointment. We were helped by Sam who took his time and spent about 2.5 hours with my boyfriend to make a custom suit and two shirts. The entire staff were friendly and expedient. The store was busy but not crowded and we never felt rushed. This will be our go-to spot for all of our suiting and tailoring needs.

Had an amazing experience at Surmesur (Queen St.). I came to design a suit for my upcoming wedding, and Sam made the process so easy. I had a very loose idea of what I wanted, and he was able to help me hone in on something that felt classic but also faithful to my own sense of style (he was very patient). I had a separate appointment with Sam for measurements and that was equally positive. I really feel like he took the time to make sure this suit will fit me perfectly.I'll be updating this review with pictures once I receive my suit.
