Seemed great at the time.. Picked up over 18 yards to top dress and repair my 2 acres of lawn.. Soil was full of weeds.. Absolutely gutted.. Lawn looks horrible.. They do not screen the soil for weeds... Buyer beware..Durham top soil. Your response/denial is pathetic. My lawn is full of stinkweed...clover and other nasty weeds.. Never experiance this volume of weeds when I purchased from your competitors.

We ordered 5 yards of top soil , 5 yard of triple mix& 2 yards of black mulch. Top soil was okay. But triple mix is full of clay & twigs. They charged $55 for a yard. Waste of money. full of junk. Very dissappointed. In addition to 2 delivery fee they also charged for splitter box. Called to discuss the issue, because the triple mix i got was full of clay. but my neighbour got the same order but he had a better triple mix . after the rainmy flower bed is full of water not draining. I spent more than $800 on plants.I called the Durham Top soil,they said manager will contact. but didn't. that's why i left a negative review. after that only somebody called me back said they can't resolve the problem because of the negative review. Very bad experience. stay away.

Agreed on a 3pm delivery time Cash on delivery. Was assured the delivery wouldn't come before 3 and actually would most likely be slightly after, which was fine as I had prep work to do. Arrived at 3 to the soil being dumped in the driveway (not where I wanted it) and driver left without taking payment. No issue I thought as I had another order to place for the next day and would just call and explain and pay for both deliveries at once. Phone ended up breaking that night, no worries I thought would fix in the afternoon and call to explain. When I got phone fixed, found out from my customer somebody came to the house (very hostile) demanding payment immediately. Not even 24 hours later. The man Sat in the driveway waiting for my customer to get home. So on top of making a mess in the driveway that I had to pressure wash, they harassed my client for payment even though it was their fault the driver came early and left without receiving payment. They refused to call my customer back and apologize to her after intimidating her like that. I have 30 yards of soil I'm ordering this week alone and it definitely will not be from Durham Topsoil, nor do I recommend anybody support this business. It's unfortunate as they did have great prices and reliable service but what they did was EXTREMELY unprofessional and borderline harassment.

I called to inquire about a couple yards of topsoil and triple mix the other day and the lady who I spoke with on the phone was extremely professional and helpful. I asked about which one of the two she would recommend for building up a garden and she explained to me why triple mix would be the right fit. I can't wait to see how my garden looks in the next couple of months and I will definitely be back again and recommending this place to everyone.

I purchased lime stone screenings for patio slabs for my shed. The lady Jessica at the front advised me on how much stone I needed for the surface area.
