unprofessional bullyBefore walking through those doors, research her long history of infractions with the College of Audiologists & Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario!!!!!!I trialed hearing aids for 2 weeks. She claimed she would refund my money if they didn't help my problem. She dodged my calls for FOUR MONTHS. I finally got a refund from VISA and she even tried to stop VISA from giving me my money back.I filed a complaint with CASLPO, which made her snap. She tried to bully me further, personally attack me, and insult my intelligence. She claimed what I was faking my hearing problems and lying about being in university.Do your research and protect yourself.

We used Berge Hearing Clinic service for our son, Dr. Brenda Berge attended us, we must say that, she is a very professional and a kind person. My son was not letting to see anyone his ear but she examine it and did whatever she could to help my son. Very much satisfied with her services.

I have had great success with Dr. Berge she diagnosed me and made a suggestion for hearing aids to try out which have worked well. She is very knowledgeable and has dedicated her life to researching and investing in people with hearing issues.

For over three years I’ve lived with a diagnosis of vertigo despite some inconsistencies. I went into the Berge clinic with a pessimistic view and came out with optimism and hope. She asked many questions and pinpointed many details of my life and family history that seem unconnected. She vetoed the vertigo diagnosis and identified a syndrome and offered hope. After getting home I did a little research and the syndrome is so me including strange things that people have looked at me oddly about. Previously I’ve been told live with it by a specialist and gp. If you have been frustrated with unsatisfactory answers elsewhere run here. It could change your life as Brenda Berge is a wealth of knowledge.

I am a professional entertainer and my hearing is extremely important to me. When I experienced partial loss of hearing because of wax buildup in my ears (just before an important performance) Doctor Berge had my hearing completley back to normal within 1/2 hour. On another occasion when I developed an ear infection, Doctor Berge had me up and running in no time,and again, just before a very important show. I can't speak highly enough about Doctor Berge and would recommend her to anyone who has a hearing problem.

Don't believe the reviews praising this audiologist. First of all, Brenda is not a doctor and legally cannot call herself doctor. Audiologists in Ontario cannot refer to themselves as doctor and Brenda has been charged by the audiology board for misleading the public.Second, she's a thief. She charged me $6000 for hearing aids that should have cost $3400 at the most. The minute I had my hearing aids she abandoned me. The care plan that should be provided to patients disappeared. She bullied me into seeing friends of hers, a dentist and physio therapist, convinced that I have jaw issues and an old concussion when in fact I do not. Her obsession with concussions will lead to improper patient care. She performed tests on me and told me that I failed them yet wouldn't explain why. She's clueless about how to program hearing aids and doesn't understand tinnitus. The new audiologist I'm seeing now was appalled by the settings on my hearing aids. No wonder they weren't helping me! I spent hours with Brenda trying to get them to work and she ended up getting frustrated and called the company and began yelling at them while I was still in the office. She doesn't know how to use her software and her assistant Agnes is useless.I also don't appreciate the anti covid, anti vax, conspiracy theory tinfoil hat attitude. I'm immune compromised and I will protect myself as I see fit.There are plenty of other wonderful audiologists and tinnitus experts out there. Brenda is a fraud and professional bully.

Dr Berge, exceptional brilliant & sensitive to her patients care! After family Drs keep sending me hearing drops for my pain, & not being able to hear properly, for 2 years, affecting many areas of my life as I work in the customer service industry! Dr. Berge took care of my problem in less than 15min. It was like I could see again after being blind!! Located conveniently in downtown Guelph, on Woolwich, one of the oldest buildings in the city, you feel very welcome walking into the Clinic!Lisa the receptionist was great, very friendly!Dr. Berge was kind enough to also referred a friends little girls to one of her colleagues in Toronto, she’s so knowledgeable, not just related to her area, but in general! She genuinely cares for her patients quality of life!I’ll be back for sure & recommend everyone I know!!

When I developed hearing loss over the past few years I finally accepted the fact that I required professional assistance. I took it on myself to research the whole area of the business and decided to have an assessment at the Berge Clinic. This was a huge mistake as I was sold a very expensive pair of hearing aids in the $5500 range with an inappropriate style for me, one that is inserted into your ears. Within a year I lost one during travel and a few months later lost the second one after a trans Atlantic flight when I fell asleep before taking it out of my ear. Upon landing in Amsterdam the KLM attendants did a thorough search including removing the seat. During our two week cruise I could hear nothing and was literally left out of conversations.Losing the hearing aids was my fault but upon returning to the Berge Clinic I was told that the new set would be close to $6000. However the wrong overpriced hearing aids were not my fault and of course I never returned to their clinic.As members at Costco we went to their hearing centre and I received the right hearing aids, far better service, much more time spent in showing me how to use and take care of the aids and better support when I had problems.Incidentally the cost of the correct and improved hearing aids from Costco was approximately half the price of the incorrect ones from Berge and Costco included a 3 year non-deductible replacement if they are lost.

My husband has very small, hairy ear canals resulting in years of discomfort & loss of hearing. None of the following health professionals nor on-line research was able to treat his issues: MDs, Otolaryngologists, Audiologists. The Berge Clinic professional was successful! The audiologist with advanced training (Doctorate of Audiology), with years of experience, enthusiasm & a talent of being inclusive with information during her procedure, was so successful in clearing the blocked ear canals such that we could clearly see the ear drums - on a tv screen!!! We highly recommend the Berge Hearing Clinic!
