Very friendly service. Good timing. And as always, DELICIOUS DELICIOUS FOOOOOD! Best samosas. I popped in for a snack after work yesterday and got a vegan samosa plate and took a dozen home with me and naan for the kids. Just warming them up with supper tonight. Very good! ❤️

Went for lunch at noon on a Saturday. Easy to find as its near bridge walkway to Assiniboine Park and Sargent Sundae. Convenient parking. We had the shrimp korma and lamb masala and 2 orders of garlic naan. Dishes come with basmati rice. The naan serving was large and generous fluffy on top and crispy on the bottom and had a wonderful fluffy-chewy texture. Quite possibly the best naan in the city bar none! The shrimp korma was pure delight with enough sauce to dip your naan. The shrimp korma will not disappoint. Rounding out our second dish was the lamb masala. Generous portion for two with nice sized bites of lamb accompanied with onions, peppers and Indian spices. We asked for medium level spice and it was enough to provide a good kick and an enjoyable culinary experience. We finished off with chai tea, and I would highly recommend having the chai tea here. Had bright notes of cardamom. I would say the chai tea here is in the top 3 in all the City. Service was prompt and courteous and staff are knowledgeable about describing menu items if you have any questions. Will definitely be back.

The food was amazing. We had the appetizer platter, chicken combo platter and chicken biryani and omg they were wonderful. So much food. Our server was very friendly and very nice. Yes it could have been quicker, but the food was amazing and so well woth it. We will be back...

Spice Circle East Indian Restaurant
Located pretty close to the Assiniboine Park and river. After a tiring day of travel i was seeking some good Indian food and this restaurant really lived up to my expectations. The location is great on Portage Avenue with ample parking space outside. I had ordered chicken thali and sweet lassi. The portion was enough for a person and the taste was delicious. The staff at the restaurant is extremely friendly and approachable. Would definitely revisit and recommend this for some authentic Indian food.

Spice Circle East Indian Restaurant
We recently visited Assiniboine park and the leaf and we went to spice circle for lunch.We tried their veggie combo thali which had channa masala, dal makhni, shahi paneer, rice, salad and gulab jamun along with delicious naan. We also tried their mango lassi. The food is really good and flavourful. Must try.

Ordered pakora platter the food was horrible, overcooked and no taste at all. I just dont know why they have food items on menu they dont know how to make it. Whole order was oily and no taste in it. Such a disgusting experience. I am sad to see how can these people charge for food like this I would not even take it for free.Good luck.

The platter is really delicious and the nan that comes with is huge, we like the butter chicken, and the appetizer is fried veggie ball with some spice, taste good too!

I would have given 0 star if it was possible. Worst experience ever, I ordered samosas and I was about to take a bite and I saw a nail inside it. It’s a restaurant and u guys need to take people’s lives more seriously. It could’ve been a very big deal for me. Never ordering anything from this place ever again in the future where no one cares what they are putting inside the food and it could cause huge issue regarding health.
