We loved our Sunday morning Thetis Lake paddle board tour with Brian. The boards and paddles were in excellent condition, we all got a mini lesson in paddle boarding, and we learned a lot about the area from Brian as we paddled. It was a perfect way to spend the morning. Thank you, Brian!

Living on Vancouver Island, I was recommended to contact South Island SUP from RED Paddle Co. Brian had every RED Paddle Board to demo! From the beginning, Brian returned every email & stayed in contact until we were able to drive to Victoria to demo the boards. We met him at beautiful Willows Beach. He was on time, very knowledgeable and had an educated staff member there to answer my questions each time I came out of the water. As someone who has experience paddle boarding, South Island SUP encouraged me to get the right board I could grow into. Brian was super busy but was able to leave and come back with a brand new board for us to purchase right there at the beach! I highly recommend South Island SUP to anyone who is looking to try a RED board before their purchase! This is the place to go on Vancouver Island!

This was the first time I had ever been on a paddle board, the experience was incredible. We went on the bioluminescent tour and it was definitely an experience of a lifetime for us. Brian was incredibly helpful and patient with us first timers.If you're rather out of shape, keeping up with the group was a tiny bit of a struggle, and we definitely needed a few days to recover, but still 10/10, highly recommend.

My friend and I really enjoyed the paddle boarding experience with Brian today! The entire process was smooth and Brian was very accommodating and kind to us! We had fun chatting while he showed us the basics and where would be save to go during such windy weather. Would definitely recommend to anyone planning to rent or book a tour/lesson with South Island SUP!

I had an incredible day! The team were fun, extremely helpful and generous with sharing knowledge and they were totally vigilant. Such a wonderful experience, I totally loved it! I feel inspired to really develop my skills and take my paddle boarding to the next level for me.

My first time paddling with Bryan. He is very experienced as attested to by the repeat customers on our group. He took us paddling around Discovery Island, which can be very tricky because of the currents. However, I felt secure that he chose a safe route and there is also safety in numbers. Recommend without hesitation if you want to spend an enjoyable time on the water!

Fabulous first time SUP experience with Brian. Booking is done online where it lists all the different lessons, tours, certifications, and other events. I picked an intro to SUP session and Brian kept me up to date through emails on when and where to meet up. You may also reach him via phone call. Remember to sign the online waiver form before heading over.Brian is knowledgeable with water activities, friendly, and approachable. Ask away any question throughout the session. All the requested gears are there upon arrival.I had a great first time SUPing and learned how to stay balanced on board under different water conditions. Will return for more practice!
