I needed two appraisals from separate companies. I contacted A1 to get them to do one. They came out promptly and sent the report back to me quickly. A1's report was professional and detailed ... the other company i used cancelled on me twice and promised to have the report back by the date I needed it... that day has come and gone and they have proceeded my payment but i am yet to receive the report. If you are looking for a professional and reliable company to do your appraisal call A1.

These guys overcharge compared to others locally.

Do not EVER use this this company, they have appraisers that are VERY unfamiliar with the market areas, they will appraise your home based on other areas resulting in offensively low value, that doesn’t come close to accurate, they request cash payments, they are over priced and then provide you with VERY inaccurate appraisals. They essentially steal your money just to make a quick buck, The customer service is atrocious. Only use this company if you want to be ripped off!

Generally, appraisals in Kelowna seem higher than Vancouver but the professionalism and results are worth using A1 Appraisals. We found them to be prompt, courteous and, most of all, efficient, in-depth and extremely accurate in their conclusions. Our appraisal was within our real estate broker's estimate as well as our assessment value for 2018. We were totally satisfied.

These guys are not professional at all. They demand payment prior to doing their work, they are slow to respond and very slow with their appraisals. “A couple days” to them, seems to be two weeks! Apparently they send anyone out to look at your house then get “the top appraiser” to sign off on everything. That’s what we were told anyway as to why things were taking so long. Not sure how ANY business operates like this, but I would not reccommend this company to anyone!

We recently had an appraisal on our on home which came in offensively low (below assessed value). The comparable homes were not even in our area of west kelowna, they had many to utilize but decided to use another location, which is significantly lower value homes thus brining our value down. 1 was pulled from Shannon lake area which sold 2 week before and said it was worth 100k lower even though it sold 2 weeks before our assessment. We decided to do a 2nd appraisal with another local company which came in over 30k more than this one and was 150$ cheaper. VERY EXPENSIVE company and does not seem to know the markets of where they are assessing. Very VERY unsatisfied. Seem to have a very negative or naive opinion of the west kelowna market . If you are considering using this company we would not recommend and suggest looking else where
