Penn Lake Park And Campground

Great little RV park 30 amp service water and sewer can recommend if you are passing through. Nice sites very private feel.

Very nice and quiet campsite, far from the highway noise. if you’re travelling and looking to camp on the way this would be a great pick. Also got well maintained grass not gravel which enhanced our night sleep. Nicely separated campsite has more privacy. Definitely visiting again!

Stayed one night on our travel. This is a beautiful place. On line booking only which was very easy to use. Many different sites available pull through and back in as well as a tent only area. Park is very clean and quiet. Lake is beautiful. Had my morning coffee listening to the birds sitting by the lake. 5 minutes to town with all necessities. Would love to stay longer and be able to explore the trails.

The staff there are amazing and it was the best camping experience my wife and I have ever had!

Lovely place. Great showers, great toilet. Beatiful little hiking trail. Something that was annoying us is the local or seasonal kept on driving down the tent area every 5 min and kept at starring at us.

Really nice campground. Not too busy, hookup sites available Saturday night in early July.

This is a very well maintained campground. Sites are private. The employees were always courteous and helpful. The hiking trail around the lake is beautiful and a great 30 minute workout. Be sure to catch the sunset at the boat launch. Pebble Beach is fun too.

Nicely level and private campsites! Shade trees provide shade around the fire pit and picnic table. We would come back.

Stayed in July 2017. We enjoyed our stay here, however, I think the price is a little high for the quality of the park. Located beside Penn Lake makes for a beautiful setting and our spot backed close to the lake which was an easy walk on a path through the trees. The park has a couple of pull-thru spots at the entrance, they seem a little exposed to the road. Plenty of tent camping available also in a nice section of the park further in. Electrical and water services were a little distance from the back corner of the motorhome, was able to make them reach without extensions luckily. Sewer was conveniently located. All worked reliably. Easy bike ride into town and there are some hiking trails that surround the lake. ATV's are popular in the area, however, none were seen in the park. Some trails go by the park so there is a bit of background noise. There is a nice park area near the campground, and a short walk around the lake gets you to a playground and volleyball net. Would stay here again.
