Their pantry selection includes harder to find items, including iron bru. They have a wonderful selection of sweets, including lozenges, chocolate and. An impressive selection of jams, marmalades and pickles. They have a small frozen section.. Also a nice selection of quality, bags and tartan wares. And of course accessories.

This is one of the best stores in the Durham region. The lady at the counter is always helpful and polite. It is a wonderful place if you are looking for things from across the pond.

Fantastic shop with great products, and friendly service. I went to pick up a gift and I will be returning. I love about a half hour away and it's worth the drive!

Very disappointed in this shops customer service. We were in the weekend before last and there was a sweatshirt we were interested in. Unfortunately they didn’t have the size on the floor we were looking for so asked if they had anymore in the back. The gentleman that was working said no but may have one at one of their sister shops. Great! So he called and confirmed that I believe it was the Belleville store had one that they would bring to the Ajax store on Tuesday and we would get a call once in. We left our details and off we went. Tuesday and Wednesday came and went so we called to follow up. Lady answered the phone noted she couldn’t see anything about it and apologized but took the information again and said she would get back in touch once she had tracked it down. Didn’t hear anything more and it’s now Monday of the following week so we call again, same woman answers not as friendly and says she will call back. Few hours go by and she calls to say in a not so friendly tone that they don’t have it and will not be getting any more. Trying to support local doesn’t always work sadly. So we will look for it elsewhere and give another store our business in the future. And just to be clear we didn’t give a hard time on either of the follow up calls just noted we hadn’t heard back.

I was treated well the first time I went in. I dealt with an older couple from the old country and they were helpful and and friendly. Unfortunately, when I called with questions about my purchases I was treated quite rudely and hung up on for no apparent reason by some woman named ''Dooley''. No matter, there are dozens of shops that sell the same merchandise and I will take my questions, money and business to them. Saddest part.....I am one of their own! Perhaps the owner should look into how his customers are treated when calling or visiting. I was nothing but polite but that was not returned.

Soooo delighted that we discovered this shop. We came here by chance after returning from Portly Piper in hopes of watching Champions League, which was not being shown there. The game had already started and my son was following up on the game updates through his phone. That's when we quickly decided to step in the shop to browse. And We Thank Our Stars That We Did!! The sweeeeeetest lady here not just helped us choose which soccer souvenirs to buy as a gift as I was completely clueless, but she was also so kind and thoughtful enough that she took her precious time out to help my son on where to watch Champion's League" Finals

Went to this shop for the first time at the weekend. Nice little shop ,I bought a nice tartan lambs wool shawl . The owner was very nice and didn't have an issue looking something up for me. Will be back!! Love that I can find my favourite crisps and chocolates .
