Taking this time to express my incredible appreciation for all the work RPH Services does for the 5 strata buildings I manage. Being a property manager, I work with a lot of contractors and not one of them has ever even come half-way close to how great RPH services are. Stuart and his team are always in constant communication with us by email and phone, explain all the details of how the mechanical systems work and how to best prevent any maintenance issues form occuring. On top of that, they are very attentive to all the repairs which come up and suggest a solution which has a much lesser scope of work and of course cost than all these bigger contractors who try to overcharge you and upsell for everything they can. I am at a point where I do trust Stuart in anything he recommends without even checking and getting 2nd opinions. His work and suggestions proved to be the best way of dealing with any HVAC related problem, throughout the years

Our building is 100+ units, and had previously contracted with one of the major suppliers for maintenance. The 50-year-old boiler system was having constant problems and the maintenance company was pushing for complete replacement. RPH Services came in to evaluate the situation, and determined that they could properly maintain the original system to work as designed. Three years later the original system continues to be very reliable with the maintenance program that RPH instituted. RPH has both the knowledge and drive to properly diagnose and solve problems, doing quality work in a timely manner for a reasonable price.

I’m an original owner and Council President in a 9-year-old, 15-unit strata with geothermal heating. The first few years were extremely challenging – and expensive – as we coped with the results of deficiencies in the installation of the system and a dearth of technicians with a true understanding of geothermal systems. It wasn’t until we happened upon Stu that our situation changed. He has proved a godsend – smart and knowledgeable on many different fronts (geothermal, traditional heating systems, electrical), hard-working, and reliable. An excellent communicator, he provides articulate, comprehensive reports and takes the time to clearly explain complex technical issues. I'm a strata council member for a 24 unit building with some of the most complex and unique HVAC technology around. We've been using RPH Services and its predecessor company for 5 years. It started when we had warranty problems with our natural gas fired boilers, our solar heating system, and out ground source heat pump. The big name companies who do this work locally couldn't figure out how to get our system working properly. We'd been paying a fortune for their services, and all they did was replace parts. We had 15 pump failures in 4 years before we called RPH's predecessor company. Since then, 5 years ago, we've had one pump failure.Luckily for us, a parts supplier recommended we call the predecessor company, and that's how we met Stuart of RPH. We hired a P Eng to redesign our cooling system after the developer screwed up the design. RPH's predecessor company (of which Stuart was a key member) came up with improvements that even our professional engineer didn't, and got our heating, cooling and solar water heating operating at peak performance. Their work cost us about 40% less than the big guys were asking for repairs that wouldn't have worked.That was in 2014. We haven't let anyone else touch our mechanical systems since then. When Stuart Matthews branched out from the predecessor company to form RPH we retained him as our mechanical contractor. He is well organized, very knowledgeable, innovative, thorough, and he gives us an itemized inventory of all the parts in our system on every preventative maintenance cycle. Repairs and replacements have dropped substantially with Stuart on the job, and outages are a lot less common. RPH has responded quickly and efficiently to every outage, no matter what the hour, and can even diagnose and fix some problems remotely.We heartily recommend RPH services for their knowledge, responsiveness, organization, communication with customers, and good workmanship. They're our best and most important supplier, bar none.

I'm a strata president of 173 strata lots and we had many high-powered companies working on our HVAC systems, boilers & pumps.Previous company proposed replacement of our pool boilers, alleged that our HVAC systems are not functioning & need to be replaced, all of these would have resulted in thousand of dollars. In addition to these proposals, for over 10 years we were experiencing nauseating gas smell in common are, none of the professionals were able to find out why.During our first meeting Stuart immediately advised that we do not to replace our pool boiler or HVAC systems. He repaired all of them with fraction of cost and shortly after that he found reason behind gas smell, which was also resolved with small cost.RPH is detailed minded and their work is always completed with high quality.All tasks are accomplished in a timely manner.
