Excellent place to relieve your ramen/sushi/Italian fusion/rice bowl addiction. Plenty of drinks, desserts, and treats sourced from Japan. Hot food is delicious, the interior decor is welcoming, clean environment (washrooms clean too), and all the hospitality you get from the staff. The Good:FoodDrinksTreatsDessertsCustomer ServiceTakeout SushiIzakaya Lounge (coming soon)The Bad:Small place with about 15-20 tables.Around 30 parking spots only. I suggest parking at Chinook Mall and crossing Macleod Trail to get to this place.Wait times for food orders can linger for a while due to this place’s popularity. I recommend picking up some pre-made sushi from the takeout coolers and order hot appetizers to hold out the wait for your entree order.

Update: this location is becoming a regular place for us. We love coming here for ramen and some take-home sushi. We had passed by Tokyo Street Market to eat upstairs at Honjin and saw how packed it was downstairs, so I made a mental note to come back to try them.Well, we finally did, and Tokyo Street Market is awesome. I got the Chashu Men Ramen with Tonkotsu broth while my wife chose the Mazemen Ramen, which was soupless. For the kids, we got them a Miso Ramen to share. I decided to combo mine with Pork Gyoza and a Diet Pepsi. You save a buck or two with the combo. We love all the food. I liked how hearty my Chashu Men was while my wife found her Mazemen to be smokey/toasty. The kids easily finished their Miso Ramen. The Pork Gyozas were crispy and hot.Beyond the hot food, we picked up some sushi as they were 30% off. Hands down, the Seared Salmon Oshi Zushi, aka Aburi Salmon, was the best deal. I will come back for that alone!

Lovely, convenient location! We went on opening day and despite the busyness, service was fast with a wait of 5-10 minutes for the chicken curry bowl. We look forward to visiting again soon!Pros:DELICIOUS, fresh fish! You can't miss the salmon!Beautiful venueKind and fast staffLarge selection of imported Japanese drinksAffordable pricing (especially the sushi)Wasabi is higher quality than most in Calgary and it packs a punch!Cons:Atmosphere - noise. The music was a bit louder than comfortable. The crowd was relatively quiet and didn't require music to cover.Limited condiments, no shoyu dishes.Ginger and wasabi are available for $0.50 per 1oz container, but you are only provided one shoyu packet in a sushi set/plate. The one packet was not enough for the Salmon Lover's" combo plate.Additionally

Well this is exciting. The choices are amazing and precise if you know what you want. One thing I would say is it would be nice if it gave you a choice on the menu that was 'chef recommend ' so I don't feel overwhelmed by all the choices in the soup section. If I was in a hurry I could just quick click. The food was delivered for free (over $20!)I had the Bold Ramen so yummy. The Karaage, Gyozas and Spicy Ebi Don were also very good. And it arrived in great packaging so noodles don't get soggy and you can heat the broth before dropping noodles in. Awesome.

Overall, not bad for a 8.50$ ramen :)I’m a big fan of onigiris, which are super hard to find around. They were not bad, but not so tasty as they might be. Strong 4 stars.

The new location opened as the original is getting too crowded at Centre Street. The price is slightly high for the portion you are getting but it tastes good. You still can get ramen under $10 for a small bowl. Lots of appetizers that you could share. Good for a quick lunch.

Really delicious ramen. The portion size was just right and tasted so good. Really excellent price for ramen. My only knock and I didn't take away any stars was I wish they also had a vegetarian/vegan option.Otherwise I would dine here again. Also first time at the MacLeod trail location.

I saw the ad for the $5 ramen, and thought I would give it a try. I tried calling to confirm what time they opened, and was hung up on, and needed to call twice. The person answering I would not rate high in customer service skills.Ordering is done at the counter, and they give you a buzzer to wait. We waited outside for our orders for a long time, and when our buzzer finally went off, we grabbed our orders, and unfortunately the sides were cold, the Pop was warm, and the upgrade to deluxe didn't seem to be very deluxe. The picture they use in the ad must be the deluxe. Will not return, I found Kinjo Ramen to be superior, and the price and portions to be better.

I atticipated for the opening of this restaurant f0r so long but end up dissapointed! The interior is good.Order taking needs improvent,Chasu Ramen is soggy and to much noodles but the broth taste good.Takoyaki is completly cold.Creamy lobster taste bland.Spring rolls is mostly wrapper. You need to pay for ginger and wasabi for your sushi and rolls.heads up this is a self service restaurant once done ordering they gave you a beeper once alarm then you grab your order bring it to your table once done eating you put it to there designated window for dirty dish.Wont be recommending and surely wont be back to dine in.
