We had Lee and his crew finish our garage they built a new stair case, painted the walls and ceilings and put a coating on the floor! He is very professional and easy to deal with. I used Lee for a project that was bought to my attention through my house inspection where there was no installation on the outside portion of the house causing the pipes to freeze in the winter. I was recommended Lee through a friend. Lee is super professional and something he said to me during the initial walk through that stuck with me was “this is now my house” meaning that’s how much care he takes. His crew was professional and went out of there way to insure the job was done professional. His quotes are clearly put together and true to cost. I will be using Lee for further projects in my house and would highly recommend him to anyone.

We found Koomen Contracting at the best time when we decided to hire someone else for our secondary basement suite completion. The previous contractor was just plain unreliable and dishonest, so the project ran way past the agreed-upon completion date. When Lee of Koomen Contracting came to the picture, he was very upfront with the situation, and gave good advice in how things can be resolved and done on time. He also gave us a fair quote despite the project being so time-sensitive. It was impressive how he was able to find manpower to get the jobs started in no time (redo tiling, vent hood fan installation, wall coring, dry wall repair and installation, shingles for awning, etc.). The best part is he left no stone unturned and checked all of the work each day and ensured that issues were resolved immediately. He is honest and reliable in the sense that he kept us posted with the status of the project, and that he also assured us of how he would resolve issues. Dealing with Koomen Contracting was a breeze and everything else went smoothly up until inspection with the city. With Lee’s help, our basement passed city inspection and is now a legal suite. I highly recommend Koomen Contracting and will hire them again on my next reno/project no questions asked.

We hired Koomen Contracting for an extensive renovation earlier this year (January 2021) that included increasing basement window sizes, replacing windows throughout the house, replacing doors, exterior siding, and some custom metal work and cosmetic improvements. It was a lot of work that involved a number of different trades, and Lee was meticulous in the planning, scheduling and execution of the project. He was very good at keeping us updated on the status, and was very attentive to quality control. Koomen's the best, we're very pleased with their work.After our first project was completed with them earlier this year, we've since hired them for two more projects. One has just started (July 2021), and the other will be completed later this year. I expect we'll continue to be happy customers for years to come, your lawn sign rusting away from sitting out there as a semi-permanent fixture. :P

Koomen Contracting did a fantastic job on our legal basement suite! We required foundation coring to make a separate entrance and they were very considerate not to make a huge mess. Tarps were laid down in the yard and all the extra dirt and concrete was hauled away. Would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone!
