Very unique experience. So many authentic Asian dishes to choose from. The lobster was a hit.

♿ the ground floor is wheelchair accessible, but the buttons to open the doors don't seem to work. The Kingfisher restaurant is wheelchair-accessible, as are a few of the stores. A couple of them have such narrow aisles you can't get much further inside than the entrance, but shopkeepers are generally willing to fetch you what you are after.

Dragon City Mall was built in 1990 by Calgary philanthropist Sam Switzer, who also built the iconic Summit Hotel as well as the Elbow River Casino. It has become a popular spot in Chinatown with many Asian businesses and its unique design. It's interesting to note that a Feng Shui Master was consulted during the construction to make sure that the building would allow energy (or Qi) to flow in – and not out – according to the laws of the ancient art. It's a fun place to explore, and one of the anchor tenants is the Regency Palace which is on the top floor and features a wooden bridge over a koi pond at the entrance.

Not really a very bad mall but I think it needs a makeover. It's kinda old and lots of shops were closed when I visited the mall considering it was on its mall hours. If you are looking basically asian stuff you can find it there. From fresh bread, herbal suppliments, medicines, travel agency and more.

Worth visiting! If not fir the Bakery and bubble tea go up to the second floor and check out some of the shops! Not a modern mall, but does have a character of its own reminiscent of the 80's and 90's.

Depressingly empty. You can't help but feel bad for the businesses operating within the mall. When we visited on a Saturday afternoon, half the stores were closed.

This once thriving shopping center definitely needs a facelift. Populated by food stalls, gift shops and specialty shop, it's a staple of Calgary Chinatown, but time has definitely taken a toll. There are many vacancies and empty shop now and the center is never that busy
