A truly historic restaurant. Like a museum! A must for delicious food and an atmospheric dining. 1 kids dish, 1 French onion soup, 1 ribs, 3 drinks $115 tips included. Their hot chocolate is one of the best ever!

This is one of my most favorite meals I’ve had in the Banff area. It felt like a really good home cooked meal. I got the ribeye with roasted veg and twice baked potato. The steak was cooked perfectly and it was huge. I wish they hadn’t peppered the steak, but I might be one of the few people who doesn’t like pepper. Reasonably priced and super friendly staff. Fast service. Cool atmosphere.

I had a wonderful meal and drinks. The roaring fire along with the shaker furniture has a fantastic setting. Bison ribs were wonderful. I will eat here every time I’m in Lake Louise.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Railway Restaurant in Lake Louise, and I must say, the Bison Burger with Caesar Salad I ordered was a delightful experience.The Bison Burger itself was cooked to perfection, showcasing the incredible flavors of bison meat. It was juicy, tender, and had a rich, distinct taste that sets it apart. The burger was nestled in a toasted bun that added the right amount of softness and structure.The toppings on the Bison Burger were thoughtfully chosen and complemented the meat wonderfully. Melted aged cheddar cheese provided a creamy and slightly sharp note. Fresh vegetables like lettuce, tomatoes, and red onions added a refreshing crunch. The house-made sauce tied all the components together.The service at The Railway Restaurant was exceptional. The staff members were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, providing recommendations and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Stopped in for dinner. It's a very nice, historical old station house beautifully maintained. There is ample parking. Getting out of the car we could smell the grill and knew we'd made the right choice. Destiny and Megan took care of us. Both were super friendly, fun and accommodating and made great recommendations. The bison burger is SPECTACULAR! have the fries as a side, they may be some of the best I've ever eaten. We also shared a onion soup and coconut shrimp. Everything was delicious and prices well in line. It was a wonderful experience. Don't miss it.

Very special place. Far from the crowds. Delicious food, and stellar service. We enjoyed the bison burger, French onion soup, salmon and the Caesar salad. They were very accommodating with our gluten free needs as well. Highly recommend.

Nice place to grab some dinner. I went for the salmon gravlax - salad tasted a bit old but the salmon was very tasty. The ribs came as a big portion and they were super soft. Definitely recommend.Service was very friendly and quick, shout-out to Maegan!

Excellent. Located in the original train station built in 1910. Real cracking fireplace, great decor and ambiance. Fairly simple menu. We both had the chefs plate which was Duck Breast that day. I had French Onion Soup and my wife had Butter Nut Squash soup. Excellent wine selection, many from the BC Okanagan. We both had Strawberry Rhubarb Pie for dessert. Great service. Really enjoyed our evening. Will go back again when we are in the area.

As an European I know what good food is and I know that it's hard to find in Northamerica for an affordable price. This restaurant makes an exception. Of course the prices are still quite high but the quality of the food is really really good. You have to try the coconut shrimp! Best food I had so far in Canada and also large servings.

Lake Louise Railway Station & Restaurant
Old Lake Louise Station now a neat restaurant. The food was delicious and staff were friendly. You can still hear the trains go by sitting in the restaurant. The decor is nice. Items that could be found in a train stations still can be found around the building. There's an outdoor sitting area. Would recommend to swing by if feeling some good sit down food in the area.
