Indian Head Campground

See update below.Great campground. Good location - the balance of the other reviews i agree with. There are two things I want to point out - the park is off a rail line and there are trains running all day and night. They blow their horns, and it can get a little noisy. Second - they don't have a set schedule for when the pool opens in the spring. I reserved on the notion that I could jump into a pool but when we got there, the pool was closed. Great pool - but closed. We should have received a discount as there are no notice that the pool was closed before we arrived. That was June 19th.Update July 12, 2023. The showers at the far end of the park are fantastic - likely some of the best I have seen across North America. And the wifi is awesome when you choose the 5G option. This place has its act together.

We really enjoyed the couple of days we spent here... It's a quiet park - surprisingly quiet for being right off the highway. There's a train or 2 that go by daily, but they don't bother me much.The park is well laid out with spacious sites, great water pressure & gorgeous washrooms.The pool is a nice touch, however it wasn't much pool weather while we were there, so we didn't actually use it - but it's nice to have the option.Overall, very happy with this park. Especially for a roadside spot, it might be one of the best.

Campsites are very accommodating. Don't think they have rooms. Location could be a problem if train noise bothers you. Showers are very clean.

2023 update. This such an amazing and beautiful campground. The host's and staff are polite and friendly. They have done some renovations. The new bathroom/showers are spectacular!!! Even the laundry room is very clean. The sites are HUGE!! Big rig friendly for sure. Well treed and fairly level. They have added a pickle ball court and basketball hoop. They have a small convenience store, and sell a good selection of hard ice cream. This is a very family friendly place. There is a train that goes by, but you get use to it.(it's not that often and the trees muffle the sound. Looking forward to next year.Extremely nice hosts. Very well maintained campground. The pull-through sites are long and wide. Even the largest RVs will have no problem. The pool is not Olympic sized but is well suited for the campground. There's a playground, volleyball net along with other lawn games. They also have a games room. There's a laundry room with 4 washers and dryers. The bathrooms are clean and well maintained. We missed coming last year due to covid but so happy to be back this year. Looking forward to next year.

Easy to reach and on a double lane highway.Has a nice pool, clean!!! Washrooms.Close to shopping, restaurants, and golf course.

Great pull through sites with town water. Great staff. Town is beautiful. Go for a walk. Half million dollars walking trail. 5 Stars!

Very friendly service from the owners. Nice spot with nice site. Pull through and fire pit. Amazing bathrooms and private showers. Would absolutely recommend!

What a nice place. A friendly welcome and good support with everything, we needed. Everything is quite new. Lots of space, great fire places, toys & games for kids, a nice pool - we stayed for one night (drive-by) but we‘d love to stay longer.

Stayed one night driving through. It’s a Really nice campground. They are super friendly , the pull through site was great and well maintained.Wow ! The showers and bathroom is nicer than a luxury home

We had an amazing weekend at this beautiful campground. The owners/staff were very friendly and accommodating. The bathroom/shower facilities are very clean and spacious. The wifi was good. The campground has many amenities that are perfect for families. Pool, playhouse and playground. A games room and many outside games available.My husband and I really enjoyed our walk through the town. A great walking path. We will definitely be back and will bring our grandkids with us. Thank you.
