Unfortunately one of the only choices to get your groceries in St-Émile. Prices are usually pretty high, which I guess are the same in all the Metro stores. Be careful with the expiration dates, especially when it comes to cheese or milk, as we've ended up buying expired food about a dozen times so far, only noticing it back home. If you go to Metro, at least get the app + card so you can get some extra savings on a few items, and gift certificates about twice a year.

Sometimes vegetables are fresh sometimes not. They don't have a very wide variety of gluten-free or dairy-free products. It's a nice grocery store for quick adjustments but not for a full week groceries.

The shopping was great but the cashier didn't understand English and got so confused she couldn't take our debit visa card with Canadian dollars on it so we had to pay with our credit card. Not a good example of customer service.

Worse metro I've been in, Quality of product was below standard, variety was minimal, service was exhaustingly slow and the store wasn't busy at the time.

Ok supermarket. First one I went to in Canada. Staff said they didn't accept my visa debit card. But they should have entered it as a credit card. Surely not difficult if the staff know what they are doing
