Twin Elm Rugby Park

Place is aging. Outside bleachers had loose panel causing people to trip.

Very well kept grounds, students had no issue with footing

Beautiful location, lots of space for multiple rugby matches. There is a building with rest rooms and a bar area with patio but building is not alaays open. Pretty far away from any amenities so make sure you pack what you need (water etc). Depending on event you may also need to bring lawn chairs. Very little places for shade so be prepared if its a sunny day with sunscreen / pop up tent etc.

My son was here to play in a High School Rugby Tournament. It is a large facility with 5 fields. The main field at the front has covered stands (rain), and the four at the rear you have to stand in the elements and watch. There are washrooms and changerooms in the main building.

I always love to do face painting gigs at Twin Elms. The people are always super friendly, the parking is easy and the games are always fun to watch.Face painting by The Colourful Chameleon

What a way to spend a couple or three hours. Watching rugby is great spectator sport. Its pure sport.

I have lived in Ottawa for >20 years and this weekend was the first time I had heard of, let alone been to Twin Elms. It was a great facility with really well kept fields. I was there for the Bytowne Blues Day so everyone was in good spirits and excited to play. Stands were nice and the washrooms were clean. Lots of parking for this event but I could see it being hard to find parking for a bigger event. Parking was also free but it looks like they may charge occasionally as they had a shed at the entrance. Would be great to see a national team level game at Twin Elms. there wasn't a cafeteria or concession but the blues were selling burgers and hotdogs. That being said the town of Richmond is just down the road so you can get food and drinks there.

Fields are in decent shape. Everyone is friendly
