I like this company. Good staff. My most recent interaction was with Simona. She's extremely pleasant , very attentive , she's very clear and some how answers my concerns before I get a chance to ask. She is really an terrific asset to Bio. I really wish there's more staff like her. I wish there's more people like her period. Thanks a lot

Absolute Chaos and unorganised place. Their recruitment process is terrible. Its like the left hand does not know what the right hand does.They hire volunteers and then equal number of stand by then an equal number of people who are not on the list.The recuiters have no clue of anything at all.

I was contacted by Akhila Kasireddy who call to tell me about the one clinical trial. She told me all about it - there were several blood draws and IVs required, several overnight stays and return trips for blood draws. I was completely fine with everything she explained to me. I drove two and a half hours for my screening, only to discover Akhila had failed to notify me that I would be required to wear a catheter the whole time I was there. Apparently, everyone who does trials has to have catheters inserted.Had Akhila told me this over the phone, I would have never made the two and a half hour drive only to say no. I'm very disappointed that I drove all that way for nothing. It was a waste of money.Well I was waiting for my 11:00 screening, I heard another gentleman and lady talking about how they had been waiting for a long time. Their appointments were 8:00 and 8:30, respectively.I will not be participating in any studies with this company, and I am so grateful that no one I tried to talk into coming with me actually came.Added** I received a phone call from Jenny from BioPharma after writing this review. She left a message asking how they can rectify this. I called back and hung up after 6 minutes on hold. I called back and after 6 minutes and pressed one to receive a call back. After a few hours, I called back. After 15 minutes on hold a lady answered who advised Jenny was not available but she would get her to call me back. It has been a few days and I have not received a call back. Obviously, par for the course with this company. Waste of my time again.

If you're Indian, White or Filipino you stand a chance working there, a black person nope I wouldn't recommend. There's no room for improvement working at Biopharma/ Think. You would give your best and still get fired if anyone especially management feel Intimidated by your work skills. Being micomanaged is an understatement & biaseness. Low paid for hard workers while other seat around do less and get high salaries I can go on and on about this place.

Have no issues. Drug studies are run well. Professional and consistent. Expected experience for drug study environment.

I was waiting as a volunteer for a study that would suit me better, and the recruitment team helped me a lot with it. All recruiting team members I communicated with were polite and professional, which indicates that Biopharma provides a proper training to its employees. At the same time, I would like to express special thanks to a volunteer recruiter Roshi (Roshanak) whose tremendous help and outstanding attitude allowed me to obtain a spot at the study I like.My best wishes and positivity in all endeavors to Roshi and Biopharma’s team.

When the topic of BPSi comes up, the first thing comes to mind is Lovely the recruiter . She’s very kind , courteous and efficient. She’s really someone who gives the important info quick , and makes interacting with her seamless and a breeze. When I talk to other subjects , most of them would advise me : call n ask for Lovely , she will give you starlight, direct and clear answer. I stopped participating with them for almost a year and decided to try again, they have improved a lot, especially the recruitment area, Joy Ekwenuke recently attended me, he treated me very well with very clear information, attentive and cordial, the staff within the clinic also better, I hope they continue to improve!

They have been paying cheaper and cheaper by the day. Clinical trials may have requirements for subjects to fast for 8 to 10 hours before dosing of trial medication. Check-in time usually is around 3pm. In order to do well in the check-in blood draw assessment, subjects are advised not to have breakfast. That means don't eat much after midnight the night before. So from midnight to 3pm check-in, is already 15 hours without food. The company used to offer a full dinner around 5:30pm and a snack of a sandwich around 8pm. After the pandemic lockdown is over, the full dinner has become a sandwich and the snack has become a small serving of yogurt. Many subjects have difficulty sleeping due to hunger. After that yogurt snack, subjects are required to fast in-house another 15 hours before the next serving of food. That is a total of 30 hours with only one sandwich and a yogurt snack in the middle. As subjects, we dared not tell anyone that we were suffering from headaches and dizziness due to hunger in fear of getting replaced by standby volunteers. When volunteers tell the staffs about this, the response is, we cannot do anything about this current study you are in but we will tell the people in-charge or nutritionist. These food planners has never improved. We can say they improved negatively.Temperature control is always in the hands of the staffs and how hot they feel in their laboratory coats walking around. Subjects are not allow to walk around after dosing. It is understandable that the staffs feel hot and subjects sitting down feels cold. Can the staff wear thinner fabric clothes so they are not getting too hot. On the dosing day morning, the temperature of the rooms were usually freezing cold. Is the expectation of room temperature around 22-24°C too much to ask?Payment for a phase one clinical trial used to be between $5000-$7000 Canadian for a five-day stay. In the United States, phase one clinical trials are usually paying above US$10,000. At Biopharma, payment is now down to $1,300. Standbys used to get paid $350 for an overnight stay a couple of months ago but they are down to $250 now. At MDS in Montreal, standbys used to be paid $1,500 for a two-night stay.I write this to let people know how the standard of treatment of human rights have evolved. I hope this comparison is being made known to all.
