Manitou & District Regional Park

Really enjoyed the campground! The ONLY downside of the park, is the sites are not very treed in.BUT! the sites are exceptionally well taken care of, and we stayed right across the kids park which was AMAZING!! Zip-lines, several playsets, a gazebo with plug-in (electric and usb) and free WiFi!The bathrooms are very clean, and the showers are hot and free! Water tastes fantastic due to it being reverse osmosis.Nice, calm, and secure, and we had absolutely no worries if no one of the kids ran off to go play at the park.It's not far from the public beach which we drove to for convenience.Will definitely see if we can get in again for our next visit.

The best beach so far, nice salty water. My son and entire family loved the beach. Swimming is really fun here too. Highly recommended to visit.

Nice campground with all amenities available. However my site was looking a little sparse on the shrubbery side of things. Nice staff however, potato-chip flavored lake water (please don't drink it), and enough restaurants to keep you busy for a week. Very quiet, highly enjoyable. The nature trail seems to lack the nature thing on account of all the digging that had to be done. Would recommend

Wandering in Manitou hills, we found all sorts of treasures. First a dog park with the most touching carving of a dog owner and their dog. Next find was the look out on the salt lake - Manitou! Last find for this hime was more carvings and trees waiting for the artist and their tools.

This was our first time visiting this park and we loved it. Beautiful sites and our kids loved the playground. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back.

Was not a pleasant visit, the pictures are very misleading. When on the phone with locals of the park said there was beautiful lake with salt and minerals. There was NO sand beach, just a drop with big boulders. Not very safe for children. Definitely not worth the visit.

Always enjoy camping here. Friendly staff, beautiful sites, lots of trees, clean bathrooms we will come back again and again.

A 5 star campground without any doubt. First of all it's very safe and secured. It has nice clean washrooms with toilet papers and water supply. Majority of the camp sites have power supply. It has playgrounds. Sunday, there is a flee market on going beside the regional park. There is also a pancake breakfast in the community hall. Sporting activities by the lake. There is a drive in theater. And much more, you need to visit it to experience the details.

Not really a place for secluded tent camping, but if you have an RV, camper, of group of friends is perfect. Nice amenities, close to beach and town site. Check out Communities in Bloom bingo!
