Where do I begin ? My family & I owe so much to Dr. Spence & her amazing team. We've been bringing our dog, Daisy here for over 10 years, and the care is unmatched! In February 2022 Daisy, (who just turned 17 !) had to have dental surgery, needless to say we were worried.We dropped her off in the arms of her caring RVT , Amanda who assured us she would be in great hands. There was no reason to worry. Dr. Spence and her team are the best and she breezed through her procedure. As I write this I am looking at my healthy, thriving 18 year old dog!! There is no way she would be here if it weren't for this clinic. We are forever grateful for all the support we continue to receive from IVAH :)

I've been a loyal customer for many years l have two dogs one of which had a severe reaction to a yearly vaccine (difficulty breathing). To my amazement the following year the staff there was going to give the same vaccine again which I stopped. This was the first red flag. The last straw dealing with these incompetent people was when they contacted me multiple times to push me to have our dog spayed/ neutered after telling them no each time. I was told to to take my business elsewhere. This is obviously putting profits before petcare and I am disgusted . Spare me your apologies my pets will certainly be in better hands elsewhere.

Dr. Spence and her team are truly incredible. I highly recommend them to anyone I speak to and will not be taking my pets anywhere else as long as I live in the city! Thank you so much for everything you do for my pets and for all your hard work caring for all the pets in the city!

I currently bring my cat Neo to Islington Village Animal Hospital. The front staff are helpful and very kind.Neos doctor that he sees is Dr Hume. She has been great in helping with all the complications Neo and I have ran into. I highly recommend this hospital.

We've been very satisfied with all the doctors and staff at Islington Village Animal Hospital since they started taking of Tia, our tiny Yorkie. For the past few years, they have taken the best care of our senior Maltie, Maggie. Recently Maggie has been challenged with heart issues. We were worried at first but over the past month, Maggie has gotten the absolute best care and we have nursed her back to good health. We depend on their advice and guidance! Thank you all so very much!

I brought my puppy Ghost in for his second dose of shots and the experience was awesome. When you walk in the door the receptionist’s are very welcoming and kind! The staff is wonderful and very informative! Definitely recommend coming here if you have a pet! You will not regret it!

We cannot express enough gratitude for the amazing care our dog Rimi received from Dr. Spence and her staff. From the moment we walked into the clinic ( which was ten years ago) we knew our furry family member was in the best hands. Which dog would wag their tail when you said” let’s go to see Dr. Spence” ours did!! Dr. Spence went above and beyond to make sure Rimi received the best treatment possible, and her expertise and compassion truly made all the difference. Rimi's health improved under her care, and we couldn't be more grateful for the incredible attention and care she provided. We miss her greatly and cannot recommend her highly enough. She has set the bar so high, that after moving out of the country we are not able to find another vet who could match her love, affection and care for our dog. The faith that we have in her is unwavering. Dr. Spence truly is an angel in the world of veterinary care, and we will always be grateful for her kindness and expertise.

It is because of this great clinic that we have had 18 and a half incredible years with our girl. They truly have their hearts in the right place, and if you want the best for your animal, they are worth the trip no matter where you are coming from.

Dr. Simpson at IVAH cared for our dog from the time we moved into the area. She is incredibly compassionate and cares about her patients - she provided excellent care over the years. She is always willing to take time to explain procedures/tests and understand options, and you never feel rushed or pushed to do something you’re not comfortable with. The staff at the clinic are great - super friendly, accommodating and helpful. We will be back with our next pet for sure.
