Oak Bay Nail Spa

Oak Bay Nail Spa is the best in town. I have been all over, and their manicures last the longest (Elaine told me it's because she spent double on UV lights and got the best of the best).Here are some of the beautiful things I've experienced at at Oak Bay Nail Salon:1. I have watched the ladies there manage a busy day like a professional sports team. They communicate and maneuver themselves around the salon so effectively that they can almost always fit everyone in without going over time. I love watching them magically interact with each other and guests to complete a busy time perfectly.2. I have seen Elaine (the owner) take very good care of a number of elderly clients. Once time she squeeze in an elderly lady when she really didn't have the space. It was only me there, and the lady, who doesn't get out much, can't use the internet, and has trouble organizing appointments, dropped in to see if Elaine could cut her toes. Elaine looked at me questioningly, and I had time, so I said go ahead. I think it's really important to take care of our elders, and it made me so happy to see the care and time that Elaine offered this woman. I've seen her engage beautifully with a number of guests and it always makes me feel good to see.3. No matter who I have when I come in, and I see the same care being applied to others as well, that person does an assessment of my hands and feet. They always take special care to be gentle or not use acetone if I have a cut or if there is another injury or some sort, go slow with tricky nails, and educate when it's important to do so. These gals understand the importance of our hands and feet and are unwilling to compromise in their high standards for anything. They are even very tactful and compassionate in their delivery of whatever communication needs to be done, despite english not being their first language.Oh, and their massage chairs are top of the line and I am obsessed.I highly recommend making Oak Bay Nail Spa your one stop shop for all mani pedi requirements.Thank you Elaine and everyone on the team. You do a great job and I appreciate you so much.

Had a wonderful experience here. The women working were so sweet and really took their time. It was my first time getting a pedicure in a few years and my feet were a mess. Very calloused and dry. The tech did an amazing job and my feet feel so soft now.The space was very tidy and is really cozy. I love their front window full of plants, gives it a really nice aesthetic. Definitely will be going back and would recommend to others.

I had a great first experience at Oak Bay Nail Spa! I called last minute on a Sunday and they were able to fit me and a friend in for mani/pedi. The spa is clean, comfortable and well appointed. Great selection of gel polish. The services were well done with lots of care - hot stone massage was a pleasant surprise! We will be back!

Big thanks to the women who gave me the loveliest manicure today! The place was SPOTLESS, the manicure was perfect, and the company was a delight. I recommend calling ahead, even if it's same day - they're doing a great job of making sure their cute little studio never gets too crowded for the comfort of all their patrons. A little heads up helps them out and makes sure you get your spot. :)

Lovely salon, I had a Gel manicure and a gel pedicure with a 30 minute foot massage added on. The salon is nice and clean, the staff were friendly, and my nails look beautiful. The massage was incredible, so relaxing and ending with hot stones and a hot towel.

The spa is clean and fresh looking. Elaine was so professional, we were not rush and was serve properly. The ladies here are good with all range of customers, from my 67 yrs old mom to my 10 yrs old daughter. Elaine and her team were able to make us all very happy. Highly recommended!

I just wanted to say that my experience at the Spa is mixed. The company and work ethic as well as the service was lovely especially when I hadn't treated myself for at least 2 years. It was a joy to be pampered for a change.Now here's where mixed feelings come in. During the manicure I was clipped with the cuticle scissors not once but twice and both drew blood. One got infected and had to be treated afterwards. As well the nail polish is now peeling off. I received this manicure and pedicure Nov 24 and would expect it to last more than 2 weeks. I paid over 100.00 for this treat to myself and am so disappointed. Perhaps if one only gets a manicure or a pedicure the care and quality would be better. Unfortunately I can't see myself going back. I am not angry just very disappointed.See picture of manicure.

Honestly the BEST pedicure I’ve ever had! I’ve had countless pedicures and this nail spa tops every one - the massage is a deep tissue massage into the calf muscle topped with hot stones and a hot towel. Elaine and her staff are so incredibly welcoming and professional - they truly want each and every customer to walk out happy. Love their services; definitely a returning client :)
