Rhubarb Restaurant
Stopped here for dinner while out for a road trip one Saturday. We didn't have reservations, but luckily they were able to accommodate us. The staff, although all very busy, were also very kind and friendly. I ordered the chicken pot pie with greens on the side...it was amazing! Also had a great, local craft beer. It has a very cool ambiance inside and a great view. I'll definitely go back!

When you’re in the woods, at a cottage, not a place you would think to visit.We wanted to do a nice dinner but we were no where near any nice restaurants, or so we thought.We found this big place nearby. Beautifully constructed and designed eatery with plenty of outdoor seating as well as indoors. Later we found out the lower level is a separate place and offers more casual dining and lots of drinks!Covid restrictions are in place. Wear your mask. Keep your distance.The staff was slightly uninviting and somewhat cold towards us, we felt a bit out of place, but once we started ordering food, things got a bit warmer.Top level restaurant had great food! The burgers and steak we ordered were melting in our mouths!Locally acquired meats are way better tasting than bought form the market. Escargot was delightful.Not one person had anything to add, they were too busy eating.The lake in the rear is absolutely breathtaking. Beautiful views of it while enjoying your food.Fall weather adds magic to nature.

My new favourite restaurant in Minden. I loved it so much that I came here two nights in a row!I like that they have a feature menu that changes and a regular menu. We don’t eat meat or dairy but really wanted to try the scallop pasta that originally comes with a lobster cream. The chef was able to accommodate and made an oil base with tomatoes and it was out of this world. The skill to be able to make a new dish on the fly like that is amazing.Don’t forget to get the pecan cake!Can’t wait to come back!

Booking was easy. This space kind of has a Toronto vibe and it’s supposed to be upscale dining however people still showed up in flip flops and t shirts.Apps - iceberg fried chicken was good but needed more protein for the price (2 skewers would be better then 1). Panchata salad was the winner of the two orderedMain - we both went with 2x seafood pasta. Only came with 1x shrimp in each $30. It should also come with complimentary bread to dip into the sauce.We did order the $5 bread plate and it was great. RecommendDesert - carrot cake was dry and the lemon desert was more dry. Don’t recommend desert here at all.Overall for the area it’s good, skip the desert, appies need more protein4/5* - the t shirts and dry deserts lowered the score.

Excellent Sunday night dinner! I had Seafood Wild Rice Soup for my appetizer, Chanetecler Chicken Breast for my main and Chocolate Brownie Flan for dessert. My husband had theCarrot Cake (it was the only course of his meal I remembered to photograph). Everything was delicious. We ate on the screened in porch in mid June. It was lovely and Lindsey, our server, was excellent.

One of the best meals I have ever had. The food was absolutely perfect, and the service was impeccable. So good we tried to make a reservation to go back the next night!My husband and I had the bison steak, my kids had the (next level) burger. Be sure to pair with the Boshkung beers on tap from the brewery downstairs.

fantastic menu, Ribeye cooked perfectly to order, schnitzel melt in your mouth, duck poutine was like butter so tender, veggies were crisp and perfectly seasoned the carrot cake was devine and the service was top notch.To top it off we had a water view table and were serenaded for 2 hours by a family of 3 otters playing, and a loon. Truly spectacular!Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Beautiful restaurant, fantastic wait staff, food was quite tasty. Very accommodating for my allergy. Only thought was that the portion of fish in the fish and chips was a little small. But not bad overall!
