John and Ismond are absolute class as far as mechanics go! Really great people who do fantastic work specializing in driveline and transmission. The quote I received from the other guys was $1500 over what ShiftFix charged. They changed the clutch and machined the flywheel in my 2016 TRD Tacoma. Everything works great with a year warranty and an honest invitation to come back with any issues. I came to the shop based on positive reviews and am happy to leave 5 stars! Thanks again!

WOW! These guys are the best! John took care of my car like it was his own and he knows cars. Ismond replaced my old clutch, showed me the worn parts and took the time to show me the job and was proud of his work. Total satisfaction, total confidence in this shop. If I could give 10 stars I would. I highly recommend them.

They are very honest and courteous. I had to experience a tad bit longer wait time but once they were able to get to my car they were able to fix it and get it out pretty fast. Would recommend them for any transmission related issues.

We've recently had the transmission on our 2014 Highlander rebuilt at this shop. Toyota dealership quoted us for an arm and a leg on a remanufactured transmission... So, we decided to have shiftfix try and fix our problem. Their stellar reviews and fair price sold us. To say the least, the whole process was smooth, fast and professional! John and his team were great to work with. They tried to explain the process as best they could and even let us into their shop to show us their process and reveal what was wrong with our car. I was referred to SHIFTFIX by a nearby mechanic who told me they specialize in transmission work.John was very courteous,accommodating and professional. He was also very upfront on what it would cost me on parts and labor. I told them that I was a student and that I needed my car back in time to commute to university and they did the best they could to make it a priority that my car gets fixed in time despite their busy schedule with other customers. They provided warranty for the job and even went as far as telling me to come back in a week for a free inspection to ensure that nothing was wrong. Great customer service and a job well done. We came to Shiftfix with our 2013 Caravan after being given quotes for rebuild or replace with our usual shop.Shiftfix quoted us a repair option but for ~20% more we could do a full rebuild with longer warranty.We opted for the rebuild for considerably less (2K) than another quote we had.Only drawback was the amount of time it took to get to our vehicle. John was very upfront with the wait time and it was our choice to wait it out. Once they had it in shop it proceeded quickly.We were very pleased with the service.

really bad. i paid 3000 for transmission repairing, the warranty is 6 month, now is 7th month, it broken again, and they asked for same price to repair! very good. it costs 3000 every 7 months, easy business.
