Wanapitei Camp is a canoe-tripping camp. With the support of the leadership team, all staff and experienced trip leaders, campers head out on overnight canoe trips, the trips lengthening as age increases. Trip experiences are like none other. They return with stories of the wilderness, the challenges, the calmness, the wildlife, the independence, the teamwork and the fun. My daughter went to Wanapitei for years, working and saving her money to help finance her trips, including V2 after Grade 12. Importantly, as a parent, I always felt confident for their safety and welcomed at camp for trip returns and celebrations. This is a strong community with decades of experience and love of canoe-tripping, which they love to share with others.

Best part of my summer everyone is nice, the cabins are great, and best of all, THE FOOD IS SO GOOD!

My brothers and I spent many years at Camp Wanapitei... back in the 70's... and to this day I have fond memories of canoe trips, portage, archery ,swimming and canoeing... glad to see it's still there...

I have gone to this camp since I was a junior and it has always been so fun as given lasting memories
