If you're a low-maintenance and self-sufficient traveler, this place is for you. It's dirt cheap ($35 Canadian per night), quiet even during peak festival weekends, and clean.Bathrooms, showers, and kitchen are community per floor. This is, after all, a college dormitory when school is in session. There is one twin bed per room which is quite comfortable, but I would recommend to bring your own bedding for comfort. There is no air conditioning but that's fine with Montréal's cool summer climate. The best thing about this location is it's location. It's within walking distance of anything you could need. McGill metro station can get you just about anywhere else in the city you need to go, and there are tons of shops, restaurants, grocery stores, art museums, and nightclubs nearby. If you'd rather spend money on your experience in Montréal than your hotel room, this place is fantastic. Definitely going to book again next summer.

The bathrooms were very moldy and unclean. The water pressure feels like it’s attacking your soul and there is no lukewarm setting, only very hot or very cold. The laundry machines were down for at least a day and a half before they were fixedThere is no air conditioning in the dorms. The staff were very rude about staying in the air conditioned west lounge or lobby for very long.Fans are available at the cost of $2 per day. There are not enough fans for the whole dormitory. Laundry cards are available, but you have to pay $21 for a $20 card.Overall this place feels like a scam because it is. The only people nice enough to make this place bearable are the maintenance staff with their cheerful smiles and encouraging comments.

perhaps it ok during term, but in summer, forget it. unbearably hot, no A/C, not enough fans to rent. rooms minuscule. Cheap, but in all senses of the word, good and bad

This is a great place to stay during your sunmer trip to Montreal. The dorms are very affordable and are just across the street from the subway. The rooms are small, but the beds are comfortable. The bathrooms were surprisingly clean, but the paper towel was not in the holder. The walls are not sound proof, but the are thick enough to not hear conversations through the walls. They provide you with towels and a bar of soap. This is no a luxury hotel, but if you have ever stayed in a Canadian university dorm, you will have no issues staying here

Our dorm room is the best deal at the best location. The McGill MRT station is a block away and there is a bus stop around the corner right on Sherbrooke. Our room was large and even offered a small refrigerator. We never waited to use the show for those . There is NO AC! As all of the fans were rented out on our first night, it was a very uncomfortable first night! Our situation much improved when we were able to rent two desktop fans. The heat became more tolerable with the two fans pointing atus 24/7. For those traveling by car, bring your own fan so you don’t have to worry about renting one.

Clean rooms, very basic but that's to be expected for summer accommodations at a university. Very old building and I found it creepy at night but I get scared easily! Washrooms seemed to be co-ed and quite outdated. No A/C. Wifi can be spotty. Great location right downtown and well priced.

Nice place to live if you're coming to McGill. Facilities a bit old but community is nice. Very fast Wi-Fi, and the cafeteria food is pretty good. Located right next to campus and restaurants.

Ideal location for solo travellers. Downtown is just footsteps away. This place made my stay in Montreal, a small cozy room. But no airconditioning during summer.
