Extraordinary experience. The best merguez sandwich ever combined with a very cute place and an amazingly nice owner.

We had the lamb shank tajine and it was gorgeous. Apparently, it is not on the regular menu. Keep an eye out for it! Fortunately, the regular menu is delicious, and the Patron a sweetheart.

I found this place on Google Maps while searching for a place to eat after visiting the Jardin Botanique. I was attracted by its down-to-earth vibe and the high ratings, and overall, I was not disappointed! The restaurant is really small and easy to miss, with only a few tables, but still enough space for our party of five. The owner/staff immediately welcomed us and was very friendly and courteous to us throughout the meal, bearing with our French skills and allowing us to practice our French. We started with Moroccan mint tea, which was really good and a must-have whenever going to Moroccan restaurants. Shoutout to the granny who served us and poured us tea! I ordered a tajine - a big note here that the tajine here is not how they would be made in Morocco! The tajine here comes with couscous at the bottom, whereas authentic tajine does not include couscous. The owner explained that they wanted to adapt to local styles. That, in my view, makes the tajine/couscous choices on the menu a bit meaningless, and you might be disappointed if you're looking for authentic tajine. However, if you adjust your expectations, you will find that the dish is extremely tasteful, and in any case, I thought it was a good thing as I liked both tajine and couscous, and I no longer needed to make a choice between the two!I would also highly recommend saving some space in your stomach to taste a few of the assorted Moroccan sweets, which are nicely laid out on top of the counter. Each one looked and tasted different and it was a great experience even trying to figure out what each one was and savouring the different sweet tastes. Also, we stayed until a bit after 8, but the staff never rushed us. Thank you for the hospitality!

Excellent sandwich and tajine and ran by a lovely lady and her entourage. I truly enjoyed my dinner there with my Moroccan friend.

Absolutely delightful experience in this petit café/restaurant. The owner is extremely courteous and takes the time to explain the differences between dishes if you're new to Moroccan cuisine. The Chicken/Merguez Tajine was delicious - had couscous, pea's, carrots, olives, to name a few vegetables. The meat and with the caramelized onions were icing on the cake!Additionally, I'd recommend the mint tea for winters! It's a must try!Overall, I'd be happy to recommend this place to anyone who is interested in trying to get a taste of Morroco in the city.
