Shoppers Drug Mart

How does it take 2 hours to put 7 pills in a pill bottle? It literally makes no sense. Every other pharmacy is able to fill prescriptions within 10 minutes, I don’t understand how it’s every single time no matter how many pills, it will always take them 2 hours+

I had the pleasure of visiting this pharmacy today May 23. I walked in 10 minutes before closing to try and get a prescription filled for my bummed shoulder. Paul the amazing pharmacist I as great, not only was he able to fill my medication for me, but he took the time to explain everything to me in detail! Something a lot of laces don’t do especially stupid close to closing my on a long weekend! So Paul thank you so much!

I reviewed Shoppers Drugmart, Down Towne Olds 5 yrs ago & gave them 5 stars. They have continued to maintain those 5 stars and more ! Staff & pharmacists have consistently gone out of their way to help me, have always provided me vital in-depth knowledge & insight regarding my medications. The store is super clean, the atmosphere bright & cheery, and easily accessible to those in wheelchairs. Even when staff & pharmacists are at their busiest serving customers they still take the time to address any concerns that I may have. I know they genuinely care, are reliable, trustworthy and are caring friends. They are just that wonderful !!!!

I have been going to Paul's store about 18 years now, I can not remember having poor service at Shoppers even before when Paul's father Joe owned the store. I was a client of another pharmacy and was waiting for the pharmacist to get off the phone patently ,when he hung the phone up he turned to me and said What the F### do you want ?" I replied Just wanted to transfer my scripts and my wife's across to Shoppers . And never been to another drug store since. "GREAT SERVICE

I was told to sign a Recurring Credit Card Authorization Form for some medical product I intend to purchase. I am not comfortable with signing a recurring payment agreement, instead, I authorized an one time credit card payment in writing. I was told, unfortunately" my written authorization letter does not meet "Shoppers National requirement for fraud prevention" . After weeks of communication to place this medical order

I came in to the pharmacy a few days ago, and on top of the pharmacy not stocking what I specifically required, I was told it would be a half hour wait for what was essentially an 'over the counter' purchase. They could have given me what I needed but I had to wait a half hour, but I ended up waiting over 45 minutes until someone noticed me and remembered to complete my purchase. Just felt like I was forgotten about. People came in and got their prescriptions and left before I was able to leave. I understand it takes time to fill pills and I thought that was what was happening here, but the bottle they gave me was the same bottle with a label on it. Took them 45 minutes to add a label on.There was a very nice lady who helped me complete some passport photos and the pharmacist who ended up giving me the directives (eventually) was polite.

I've had a family member that was a regular to get their prescription filled at the pharmacy. Turns out that they have been incorrectly filling their prescription more than once. Even after it was brought to their attention they would still constantly screw up the medication and forget important medications. This pharmacy is a total disaster. How is it possible to give the wrong medication to the wrong person multiple times. Incompetent is an understatement. Figure it out before you kill someone.

Useless. Ran through a prescriptiin and made me wait a half hour just to discover they didn't even have what I needed and then I had to call back later to get it properly cancelled cause they apparently didn't do that according to a much more helpful pharmacist.

Got a prescription filled, Hailey- the Assistance Pharmacist was very Polite and seemed happy to help. I couldn’t be back right away to pick it up and they scheduled it accordingly. This has been the best experience I’ve had here. Hailey makes you feel comfortable asking about anything.

Regular customer here. I have a legitimate health reason to not wear a mask, but was still refused service by a rude young man insisting I will not be helped until I wore one. So be warned: having a medical condition means nothing here and you will be forced to go against your doctors advice.
