Soames Hill Park
Short hike to two amazing lookout points. It would be a great place to have a fancy nature adventure. It's also super close to Persephone Brewing. So go get a beer after you tackle the Soames hill. The greatest thing that really impresses me is Gibsons’s commitment to healthy living and environmental sustainability. That is Gibson's treasure. @ Sunshine Coast, Gibsons, BC

Excellent stroll. It took about 20 minutes slow and steady to hike up to the summit which offers spectacular views across from Gibsons to Howe Sound. I wouod highly recommend it. In total about 1 hour round trip with time to relax at the top. I would recommend taking a little picnic up with you. It wasn't too busy either.

Best place to see the seaside of Gibsons. The park have many hike trails with different difficulty level. When you reach the top, your reward will be the sightseeing. It is such a blessing to be able to see the beautiful side of the nature.

Great view, moderate hiking treks and pretty busy during weekends so you are not alone in dark

Such a nice hike close to the Soames beach. There are easy to intermediate trails for getting to the view points. On a clear day, you can see a gorgeous panoramic view as far as the States. The intermediate route starts with quite a steep walk and advances to 346 stairs. After passing a few rocks, you will star to see the view. Great for a one hour hike.

Short and Sweet! the top is such a great spot- been doing this hike for years and it has not changed .Great way to get a good workout for your dog and yourself !also a great way to waste an hour if your waiting for the ferry.

Soames Hill Park
Lovely little hike. Easy access from Gibsons, and a fairly short climb up and down (maybe an hour leisurely round trip) and probably accessible from anyone who is able to climb steps comfortably. You will be rewarded with amazing views over the islands and the inlet. Some parking at both the West side entrances.

Pretty good hike with a decent view of Gibsons and the Strait of Georgia. There are some steep stairs involved so it may be difficult for older people or young kids. We saw some woodpeckers along the way.Not too much parking available from the Bridgeman entrance but it wasn’t also too busy when we went (about 20 mins after getting off the ferry).

Beautiful hike with a great view. The stairs... The one set is much shorter than the other. One set is definitely better to go down. Use caution if you skip leg day.

Often peaceful climb with beautiful views (even, as recently, in smoky conditions). Reasonably long walk to the lower lookout point - take your time up the steps if you're unfit like me, but views of the marina and forested hills are worth it. The upper peak also has a good view, after a small scramble up a rock.
