Hanbo Korean Noodle
Been here twice. Now this place is really unique since I don’t know of another city with knife cut noodles, known as kalguksu. The flavours are simple but great. Try the seafood kalguksu for great flavor, the chicken kalguksu for a rainy day, and the kimchi kalguksu for some spice. The mandu is ok, big but lacking flavor, I prefer the pork. The Mandu dipping sauce is top tier tho. The sliced pork is amazing and tender, worth a try for sure! The kimchi however is defs one of the best in town, eat it with your noodles or on its own. The kimbap is a good small snack too. Just because this place is so unique I would recommend everyone give it a try. Get a bottle of soju and some beer, make some somek and enjoy good hearty soups with your friends. I’ll have to come back for the seafood jeon. The servers are all awesome dudes!

So happy someone recommended this place to us!The menu is small but everything they make is delicious! Quality menu for sure!The sides are SO good here! We were obsessed with the pickles. The staff were also very on top of filling our side dishes, which is rare at other Korean restaurants.We got two soups and the seafood pancake and we couldn’t finish! Great portion sizes.The food was flavourful and very comforting.The staff were all smiles and so hospitable. This will be our new regular place to go, even though it’s far from our house.Thanks for having us!

Hanbo Korean Noodle
Had the cold Kimchi noodles, pork bone noodle soup and dumplings. Everything was delicious. The in house made Kimchi was so good just by itself, I could eat it alone! The noodles are hand pulled and very fresh tasting. Really nice texture, too. Not your typical Korean cuisine if you're looking to try something a little different.

They have refillable side dish, kimchi and pickled veggies. They also have one free braised pork. Overall, I recommend this place for those who liked soup and noodles. They are not that big of a company yet, they recently just open and they have very delicious soup noodles. If you are visiting Calgary in winter, this is a place to visit. I also recommend the chicken Kalguksu to those who like their soup to be a little bit creamier. Seafood Kalguksu is more of a neutral taste where you can make your own choice of taste by adding different spices on the table. Maybe, the reason is because the whole seafood gives the whole soup a taste and for me it is good enough. I like combining it with the pickled veggies, it is so good.

Location is decent with parking, spacious restaurant, service was decent.Food however left quite a bit to be desired. Noodle was bland but was ok. Seafood pancake was decent. However, the dumplings were tasteless and the meat texture was poor. Avoid the dumplings if you go.Price was quite expensive too.

Totally recommend coming here. The place feels cozy, with very simple decor and lined up tables.The service is great, helpful if it's your first time trying Korean noodles and always have a smile.The broth and meat was delicious, noodles were on point and it was all very filling.I think it's best to come in a group so you can share and try all their different flavors. But it is also ideal for a date as the music and atmosphere makes it perfect to talk.Com try it out!

Hanbo Korean Noodle
I was SO EXCITED to try this place, and my excitement was not unfounded. My first and only time having Kalguksu was in Korea, and I haven't seen it offered on any menus in Korean restaurants in Calgary. Until now! Both the beef and pork kalguksu was amazing, the broth was flavourful, and the kimchi pancake has a lovely crunch. They have a very unique menu, being a noodle focused restaurant and I'm so excited to come back to try more dishes!
