LAB Language Arts Base - Arts Studio

Both my 2.5 years old granddaughter and I enjoyed our art classes and learnt a lot! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Communication is excellent. Highly recommended!

Today, me and my daughter had a date. I didn't have any idea where to go or what to do but I was looking for something special this time. After searching all the night I find a store LAB Language Arts Base We had so much fun today in Richmond branch definitely we will go again. I highly recommend it. Jessy is an amazing teacher, very friendly.

We went to LAB Language Arts Base Ltd. for a four person underglazing class with Rachel. It was so much fun! Rachel is incredibly knowledgeable and made the experience so engaging; she taught us different techniques and how to use the brush & sponge as well as how to mix the paints to get the results we wanted. As a person who has no art background, I was a bit nervous to attend this class, but after spending the time with Rachel, she made the entire group feel like they were able to make a work of art. Our mugs turned out so cute! I love that there was an option for the clear glaze or the speckled glaze. I would highly recommend LAB Language Arts Base Ltd. to anyone who wants to try something outside of their comfort zone or even just enhance the art skills you already have.Thank you so much LAB and Rachel!

We celebrated our daughter’s 8th birthday at LAB with her friends during Spring Break. Jessy and her team were very supportive, professional and patient with all the changes through the planning process. The instructors were very nice and super patient with the little ones.The studio is very clean and kids-friendly. We all fell in love with the cute paintings hanging around the wall. Highly recommended for kids birthday parties!

Adult classI attended LAB for a group adult under-glazed ceramic class. I am not an artsy person but I quite enjoyed my session there ! Our instructor Rachel was fun and detailed. She was very knowledgeable in all things ceramics. I had a great time working on my personalized ceramic cup. I would definitely come back for another class!

A beautiful gem located in Steveston village! Messy Jessy and team help cultivate creativity in your kids with different art classes and camps! The programs are well fun and the teachers are all so talented. Every time I walk past the storefront I can’t help but make a visit inside!

My son Asher’s concentration in preshcool has improved a lot after attending just a week of classes during the Christmas break. Great teachers. Lots of neat art supplies and crafts done by kids displayed at the front. Highly recommend!

The team at lab is incredibly welcoming, fun and knowledgeable. They made my toddler feel at ease in the space and knew how to engage her to actually focus and explore her creativity. I wish I lived closer or I would enrol her regularly!
