I met with Chris, the owner, to sell some 33rpm and 45rpm vinyl records. Chris purchased from me fifteen 45rpm and offered me $1 for each. His store has AC, is well lite and clean, and nice ambiance. Chris was courteous and polite. I have gone through almost ALL of the vinyl record stores near downtown Montreal and by far La Rama Records is the best store to buy or sell records. I definitely recommend La Rama. Thank you Chris.

Quite possibly the Best record store in Montreal when it comes to a personalized service, where the owner takes time to understand your musical tastes, and therefore offers recommendations based on what you like/bought before. A real Music hub, for practically any genres, used and new vinyl.

Very friendly folks with some very reasonably-priced records. I am new to the vinyl scene and don't have the most sophisticated taste - I was mostly looking for oldies and bargains to build my collection. With that in mind, I got the feel that that isn't really the business model for this place (more of a modern, audiophile vibe). That being said, I found some great deals and felt very welcome. I just wish that the shelves under the top bins were more clearly labeled. Would definitely recommend checking it out regardless of your taste!!
