Joe Borowsky is an incredibly talented singer/songwriter/teacher/mentor, and has been my daughter’s voice and guitar coach for the past few years. He strives to make everyone feel comfortable, and helps to nurture and develop individual talent and creativity. Joe has the voice of an angel, and we could listen to him sing all day! Joe has taught my daughter off and on since she was 9 (she is now 13). His style, encouragement and personality make learning music fun, and drive and inspire passion. Reese is known for being very talented musically, and we credit both her and joe for that. Joe is an amazing musician ! Check him out folks- you won’t regret it..

What great fortune to meet Joe. He taught our daughter guitar for nine years. As an eight year old student, Joe opened up her mind to the world of music. He was ever patient and encouraging. His greatest attribute as a guitar teacher was his ability to embrace all genres of music and instill that love and enthusiasm in his students. Our daughter’s (and our) life has been forever changed by his guidance and mentorship. Thank you, Joe, for sharing your knowledge and passion for music. This gift will follow her throughout life. Joe Borowsky is the absolute best guitar teacher that there is!  I would recommend him to anyone looking to take lessons, no matter what level you play at or what you are looking to get out of lessons.  I never thought I would play guitar again because of a condition with my hands, but Joe has helped me adjust what I need to in order to be successful and enjoy playing guitar and singing again.  Joe challenges me to learn new techniques and expand my skills, and he is always positive and encouraging in the way that he teaches.  I couldn't ask for a better guitar teacher, I would recommend him to anyone looking for guitar or vocal lessons!

Long story short: No matter where you are in your music/voice journey, you would be doing yourself a HUGE favour working with Joe.Joe and I have been working together for just over a year now and I will honestly say it's been life changing. I've always had a passion for music, and moreso always wanted to get into singing but was afraid of how vulnerable singing would feel and how bad I likely was. When I took the plunge, I was greeted by one of the most welcoming and encouraging atmospheres I've ever been in. There's no doubt about it - I was awful - but Joe made that feel okay and quickly figured out what to work on. I am very proud of the progress I've made with singing and Joe has helped me put together guitar and voice - something I'd previously struggled with A LOT.Joe's ability to adapt and learn with his students stands out. He is always aware of what kind of mood" the session calls for. He has a genuine love for music which is apparent in his ability to appreciate and work with the (very) diverse song choices brought to him. He is also open about his current projects as well as how he is always improving as both a musician and a teacher - it is inspiring to work with someone so talented and still seeing them constantly grow.My experience working with Joe has immensely impacted my confidence inside and outside of the studio. Four years ago I started voice lessons with Joe and eventually moved into piano accompaniment with my singing. His voice coaching methods were really beneficial for me with the approach he uses - which is to work on a song to mastery, and then record it for final critiquing. As my 'singing' skills evolved and I developed more confidence, I progressed into singing along with my own piano accompaniment, then was able to add it to Joe's fantastic singing and guitar playing skills when we recorded for final critiquing. I have gained a lot in the 4 years I spent with Joe and highly recommend him as a teacher. It was a wonderful opportunity for me to have the honor to learn from such a talented person :) :) :)
