A super special and exciting experience! We saw every kind of animal - porpoises, seals, bald eagles, a puffin, and even a whale! The tour guides were knowledgeable and funny and the captain was great at pointing out creatures. Quoddy adds lots of special touches like free hot chocolate and cookies and even an opportunity to touch live starfish. :) An all around amazing experience.

A good experience, the catamaran can provide just the right viewing experience. This was also a good biology lesson. We watched wild whales, sea lions, and dolphins. At the end of the journey, there is free hot chocolate and cookies. In addition, the crew introduced several marine creatures, such as starfish, sea urchins, and scallops.

Amazing adventure on the ocean! Even if you don't see any whales or large marine animals, the boat ride is exceptional, and it's an experience of a lifetime.

Our day aboard the Quoddy Link was cold, gray , wet... and still the best fun we could have hoped for. We saw so many birds including a bald eagle and several puffins; watched seals play near the rocks, and visited with an accommodating minke whale for at least 30 minutes. The crew was friendly and so very informative. It was the highlight of our weekend.

There is a large selection of whale watching cruise companies to choose from in the area - let me help you make it easier ... go with Quoddy Link! The crew is great - extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and the boat was also amazing (large, comfortable, great look out spots on the upper deck, steady/smooth and lots of room to move around). So glad we went Quoddy Link.We went fairly early in the season for whales (June 17th) so didn't have too high of expectations - but we had a fantastic time and were treated with porpoises, seals, MANY bald eagles, and a minke whale!I believe the tour took approximately 3 hours, but it was well worth the time. The captain went out of his way to follow the whale and give us multiple opportunities to view - while other cruises around us seemed to give up after the whale was out of view for a while, we continued to respectfully follow and see the whale come up over and over again. Whales are only a small part of this experience though; the other sights are amazing. The shoreline, houses, islands, lighthouses, whirlpools, other wildlife.... it was honestly one of our favourite experiences in our whole 2 week vacation of Atlantic Canada.

Had a great experience with Quoddy Link. We took a tour in late September and saw two whales, Chevron and Cork. They swam right alongside the boat several times and we even saw them breach from a distance. We were lucky I think, but even besides the whales it's a great tour around the bay, and you'll likely see many seals, porpoise, and birds. Plenty of space to move around on board, staff are informative and enthusiastic and everyone had a wonderful time on the water.

It may have been chilly and the wrong time of the year for whales but we still had a great time. We did see porpoises, sea lions, and bald eagles

The sail was excellent and informative but how lucky one gets to watch the whales is dependent on the season. I went in early July and ended up only seeing Minke whales. They are a shy types and do not come out completely. The tour is worth it only if you get to see Humpback. This is my opinion of course but if you just want to explore deep ocean with some other wildlife (eagles, seals) then this tour is excellent.

This is a great choice for whale watching. The catamaran style boat was super stable with plenty of space for everyone on board. The captain knew exactly where to take us and we saw 3 different whales as soon as we arrived. The staff on board offered many interesting facts about the whales, wildlife, and area. It is a nice treat that they serve hot chocolate and cookies on the way back in to shore. Completely worth it.
