Beautiful setting but suffering from growing pains…no water, many un-level sites…certainly NOT worth the $48 nightly camping fee! Might be worth the fee once their construction/development is completed. Access is 14km logging road with washboard sections. Kayak launch site was great: protected, sandy, good access, plus 3 lovely tent sites right beside the launch. Be prepared: $15 launch fee, $10 per day for parking. Only 6 nautical mile paddle to Broken Islands Lodge! If seas are too rough, the Lodge’s sea taxi costs $75 one way per person. Paddle early for calm crossing

Remote and lovely! At the end of a dirt road after a long and beautiful winding drive. Developed campground best to get a reservation. NO POTABLE WATER. Saw two black bears. Provides an excellent launching place for exploring the Broken Group.

Great place to stay remotely, very nice kayak launch and great staff taking care of the place and visitors. Overall I enjoyed the time a lot and recommend the trip to secret beach campground. No worries if you do not have a 4x4 SUV: your car will easily survive the road.

Pretty nice spot, camp sites are meh and pretty close together. They have no portable water which would have been good to know as I was on a motorcycle and can only carry so much. I was expecting g to fill my water when I got there. Luckily I had the technology to filter water so I pulled from a nearby stream.Staff was really friendly and helpful, especially the front desk girl. Owned by the local First Nation, so I was happy to support the business. Still pretty rough, but the place has a lot of potential.

Came to the Secret Beach to launch my canoe for the day when it was too windy to surf. It was so lovely and peaceful, we stayed the night and spent a second day playing at the beach and paddling. Truly a special place on earth, and friendly hosts. What a great find. I especially recommend the kayak camp sites by the small boat launch.

Nice place, nice staff except the security" person that barked at us twice (my wife with the kids in the RV and myself walking along the road) without any warning after checking in in the morning as we arrived lately the day before

Great campsite. Offers a fire pit and access to kayak launch. I enjoyed the quietness of this campsite. The scenery by the marina is superb. They offered fireworks in Canada Day which were a big bonus! Also, we were at campsite #13 which is just across from playground - super for kids/families.

Breathtaking location. The camp hosts were great and very accommodating. The road up to the campground is long and rough but worth it in my opinion. Campsites aren't very private but pretty nice overall. I'd definitely come again and recommend especially if you're a kayaker.

We 've been ( my partner and i) beggining of june to camp at the kayak launch, we tried the new wood platforms to camp, with an amazing view on the sea. This place is a little paradise, perfect night to camp and perfect place to do some kayak on the morning ! Trever is really really nice ! We will definitly come back to this place next time we go near Tofino. There is a gravel road, but it really worth the drive ! If you plan to camp at the kayak launch, be autonom and bring your water and gas cooker.Perfect for independant campers if you are clean !!See you soon hopefully !
