I adore this monument and I love the monument standing on his former resting place in France. Unfortunately it seems some Canadians don't realize this is a tomb. This place has been danced on, stood on and peed on.

Changing of the gaurd is every hour. Come 5 minutes before as the start at 5 to the hour. The Piper's are good. Feel free to ask some questions. They are friendly.

Tomb of unknown soldier lays in front of the national war memorial. It elegantly adds a sens of duty and awareness for all when looking at the war memorial as every single war is the sacrifice of many and there are always those remained unknown for their sacrifice.Picture here was captured during the guard change on the hour. To view the guard change, it’s best to arrive 5 minute before the hour. although it is a simply display, it is a good reminder that we still have an army and without their guard, we cannot enjoy the peace we have.
