The Lion Rampant Scottish Pub
My family wanted to eat dinner so we visited the Lion Rampant Pub and ate here. The food was very good and for some of us it was a large quantity of food. The burgers were juicy and delicious. The view is nice as we looked out into the open while eating dinner which brought a nice mood. People under 19 would need to eat outside in a designated area.

This is our favorite 'go to' pub. It's a 5 min drive for us, business lunches, dinner for two, meeting friends after work or Sunday afternoon drinks on the patio. Great food, excellent service, cool atmosphere, and the view is the best!

Stopped in for lunch( and to sit down to pick our new puppy) on our way back home to Saltspring. First time stopping in. Amazing lunch, beautiful staff. Highly recommend. Didn't take pictures of the scrumptious foods:)

Best fish and chips I’ve had on our week-long island trip. House-made coleslaw was also amazing! Beautiful view, quiet patio, friendly locals. A hidden gem for sure. Can’t wait to go back!

Food and service were good. Had a great meal with friends. Pub environment is very nice with beautiful views over the water. Nice place definitely going back.Went back yesterday and ordered the special Philly cheese steak and a side of soup. The cheese steak was the size of a hotdog bun with minimal meat in it and I have had bigger tea cups than the soup came in. All for $18 not very impressed. The service was great just not he special.

The Lion Rampant Scottish Pub is situated right next to the waters with a wonderful view and a huge covered patio. One of the main reasons we’ve go back when we visit Duncan.The food is very standard pub fare, they do some good burgers, mac & cheese and etc. The burgers were seasoned well, and juicy. The food seems to be fairly consistent each time we visited. Prices are also very family friendly, with big portions. They also have interesting beers on tap.Service can sometimes be a hit and miss. As it’s very casual, you go in and sit yourselves, sometimes you could wait awhile before you get your server. It also depends how busy the restaurant is, which is understandable.While the view is excellent, the inside of the restaurant can use an update. The tables and chairs can feel greasy at times, the washrooms can use an update as well, but over all the restaurant is clean and organized.If you do go to Duncan, check this place out and give it a try. We only go during the day as you can take advantage of the view the best, but it is quieter during the day. So if you like a crowded pub atmosphere, then I recommend going at night.
