I STRONGLY RECOMMEND ENGINELANDI bought a used low mileage engine with gearbox and ancillaries for my Mitsubishi Colt from Engineland. They shipped it very quickly all the way to Holland. I mailed Mr. Naj Zafari of Engineland several times and he always responded immediately and very professional. The engine I received was exactly as described and photographed on the Website. I put it in my car immediately after receiving it and it started right away. Engine and gearbox run so nice and smooth I absolutely believe it's only done the low mileage as reported by Engineland. Just a really good experience all around. What a great company with perfect customer service and excellent engine and gearbox.Thanks again Mr. Zafari for helping me out so very good.

I am just about to buy my third engine from Engine Land! I've been building Nissan s-chassis for years, and I always go to Naj and the guys at Engine Land for my JDM SR20DET engines! Great customer service, worked with me on my shipping costs, and even threw in a free MAF! Also, the most recent engine I installed from them was in 2007, it's still in the same car, and the only thing done to it since was oil changes. High quality and reliable engines, I won't buy anywhere else! Thanks Naj!

This place is a joke. I purchased an engine from them and had several conversations with Naj prior and he assured me the engine he was selling me was identical and the only difference was that it was used in Japan and not the US. I tried to purchase it through eBay but he suggested to purchase from his website because it's less complicated and also cheaper. I had no idea this is a violation and a tactic used by crooks to avoid eBay stepping in to help. So I made purchase, and it was the same price as eBay, so the only person that paid less was Naj.Several days went by and I received no updates so I contacted him and he said not to worry his broker will take care of everything and I don't need to worry about anything. This was a lie too. When delivery day came and went I contacted him again and asked why, he provided a link for UPS and said contact them. Well I thought his broker was taking care of everything and I should be worry free.I got a bad feeling and contacted Honda Motor Co. To get info on the difference between J30A and J30A5. They informed me that it's not the same engine and I would have to make many alterations and in the end would have a loss in performance.I contacted him and provided this info to him at which time he again said it's the same thing just trust him. I also told him that UPS was waiting for him to respond to an email so that they could deliver my freight. He said to contact them myself. Again what happened to his broker? So I called them and they explained that they can't deliver to my residence packages like this and that the seller would have known at time of sale. They also said he didn't provide them with any of my contact info. Again when I contacted him he told me I was on my own.Now once the motor was at the ups place in my home state he changed his story about the motor and now his story is that the motor will fit in my car. It's not an exact match but it will fit in my car... He refuses to work with me, he won't answer my emails. He knows what he did is illegal but does not care. I'm out $1,180 and he's ok with that. This place is a joke. Do not buy here. You'll get nothing but lies and frustration for it.He stole $1,180 from me. *****Since my complaint Naj put a hold on my engine I purchased and asked UPS not to provide me with any documentation for my dispute with PayPal. This is criminal. Don't ever do business with this company.

The engine I bought came clean and according to the online video it had very good compression pressure in all 6 cylinders. Installed the engine and noticed that it has a slight tapping noise emanating from it. Has the weather got colder the noise is getting louder. Contacted Naj the owner I assume for advice, but he hasn't responded yet. I'm not happy with this noisey engine and I dont know how long it will last before what ever it is that's making noise breaks apart.

**DON'T BUY FROM THESE GUYS!!!!*Go somewhere else! I'm trying to save you new buyers from misery... AVOID this company at ALL costs. They are scammers!! They will screw you over at every turn, through all their lies and manipulation. The cheap prices I promise you are not worth it, to have to deal with a company like this.

Sold me a junk engine, said they would get back to me to help me out and completely blew me off. $1800 down the drain. Complete rip off!

This business doesn't even deserve 1 star. I would never recommend this company to anybody looking for anything. First reason, is because of the false advertising. On the picture it stated that it was a direct replacement for a Subaru WRX when it in fact is not. Direct replacement means you take the other engine out and directly put the new one in without having to move parts around or rerouting wires. The engine they sent us was not a direct replacement. Lies! Reason #2, after speaking to the employee about the motor they sent us and explained how it was a Forrester motor not a WRX motor. We came to an agreement that we would ship the wrong motor back at our cost and we will pay and extra 400 for the correct motor and we would like the new motor shipped to us. It was explained that it is policy" to wait for the motor to be shipped back to them before they would ship out the proper one. However

$2,300.00 wasted. I was given incorrect parts. Originally labeled for the incorrect vehicle. They attempted to help and sent more parts. Turned out that transmission was damaged. When i brought the fact of the broken trans to their attention i was told to rebuild the transmission. If i wanted to pay the 2k for the trans rebuild i wouldn't have bought their garbage.Now im $2,300.00 into a drivetrain replacement that was installed by a professional shop, so labor on top of the parts. (Closer to $4k total) i have a vehicle that does not drive and the piece of trash company won't stand behind what their selling. Or give my money back.Don't waste your time and money on these criminals.

I bought several engines from engineland over the last 15 years with great success. I'm a master mechanic and all engines were top shape, with no issues. I recommend this place if you want a quality engine.
