This used to be the best go to for take out. Unfortunately not anymore. We loved the hot and sour soup and now it tastes like vinegar- we didn’t eat it and for $9 that’s not cool. The dishes were once fused with flavour and fresh ingredients now it’s like someone just dumps sauce on stuff and stirs it around. It’s too bad we have been loyal customers for years but it’s time to find a new place

I took my grandmother here for dim sum and we enjoyed it! It is one of the only places serving dim sum on this side of town and the food was excellent. It came out quickly and was fresh and hot. The har gow were generously stuffed with shrimp, siu mai were very tasty, and we really liked the shrimp rice noodle rolls. We tried the deep fried shrimp with salad and that was also perfectly crisp and flavourful. They had a lot of other lunch items on the menu and we also ordered the XO noodles, which were also delicious. The char siu baos could had a higher bbq pork to dough ratio, and I wish they offered a few other options like ham sui gok, wu gok, or bbq pork rice noodle rolls.The ambiance and decor inside is more modern, clean, and well thought out than typical places I've visited.The total was a bit more expensive than other places we've gone to in Chinatown but we didn't mind since it is the only place in the area, the food was good, and the decor was nicer than usual.Other reviews and photos mentioned sushi, but that wasn't an option on the menu we were given today - we only saw dim sum or Chinese food as options.

Excellent quality dim sum. It’s going to be a new go-to spot for me! My favourite was the pan fried shrimp and chive dumplings, pictured below. Bonus ‘liminal’ atmosphere as you pass through the upstairs bar to the bathroom.

First time lunch here. Food quality is above average, especially crab claw and hargow. Service is good with quick food delivery and tea refill plus waiter smile. Hygiene is very good with clean food utensil. Will return next time

I've had both the dim sum and dinner menu here and it's pretty decent. After reviving The restaurant with a clean makeover the restaurant became a very comfortable place for dining. Dim sum was fresh and consisted of all the essential dishes. The dinner menu is a bit limited but the food was still quite decent. The service however needs to pay a bit more attention to diners, I tried flagging down someone for the bill for nearly 15 minutes before standing up and walking to the counter to pay.

Honestly just beyond delicious. Some of the best Chinese food I've had in this city! Staff is so friendly, quality is fantastic, good portions. I will be visiting again!

I have gone to this restaurant when it was Pearl Court and before the restaurant renovation when they used to have this real inexpensive Asian gem feel in the restaurant and served the food on carts. Don't get me wrong, I love the new vibe, but with the price increases on the food ($7 per dim sum item) it is hard to justify 5 stars for the restaurant now. The food is quality and the curry cuttlefrish got later after the reno and I really appreciate that. However, gone are the days of $30 for 2 people early bird dim sum pricing. On the new menu, highly recommend the sizzling platter (beef) - it is delicious!
